Cody Simpson delivers touching tribute to girlfriend Emma McKeon after she is crowned Young Australian of the Year

Cody Simpson paid a moving tribute to his Olympian girlfriend Emma McKeon on Thursday after she was crowned 2024 Young Australian of the Year.

The Commonwealth Games gold medalist, 27, shared a video on Instagram capturing the moment Emma, ​​29, was presented with the honor by Prime Minister Anthony Albanese.

In the footage, Simpson sees Emma rising from her seat to receive the award at the National Arboretum in Canberra.

“Oh, she looks good,” Cody can be heard saying as Emma approaches the stage.

Emma received the highest honor for her phenomenal sports achievements.

After a career break, McKeon returned to the sport and achieved six podium finishes at the 2014 Commonwealth Games.
