Wild thing! Nicole Kidman looks unrecognisable in her raciest shoot yet as she poses in sheer lingerie with a black snake after saying she feels ‘sexier than ever’ – and reveals her very rebellious teenage years

Nicole Kidman graced the cover of Australian Vogue magazine looks brighter than ever.

The Australian actress, 56, fronted the fashion bible’s February issue in a racy editorial photographed by Steven Klein, wearing nothing but sheer lace lingerie and a black hose wrapped around her shoulders.

Looking every inch a Hollywood rock star, Nicole completed her edgy ensemble with red-rimmed sunglasses, chunky diamond rings and a gothic manicure with black tips.

She also wore her blonde hair in loose waves and painted her lips with a bright gloss as she struck a daring open-mouth pose.

Her wild editorial photoshoot was accompanied by an equally surprising interview in which she reflected on her rough teenage years.

The mother-of-two, who recently said she feels “sexier than ever,” told the magazine she remembers sneaking into nightclubs in her youth.

“I was thrust into (the adult world) at a very young age. But it didn’t destroy me either,’ the Moulin Rouge! said star.

Nicole explained that her mother Janelle never discouraged her from “exploring and trying things,” but always warned her not to lose her head.

Nicole also recalled being dragged out of nightclubs by her late father Antony in the early hours.

‘People would say, “Who is that?” And it would be my father who would show up and drag me home,” she mused.

‘I’m grateful for that now. There were always those two things happening where I was like, “I want to be wild!” And then I would have a strong family and a nourishing home. I probably still have those two parts in my personality.’

The source said Nicole – who is married to singer Keith Urban and mother to teenage twins Sunday and Faith, 15 and 13 – ‘ccompletely unapologetic about everything she wears and laughs at the criticism she receives for her bold choices.’

‘She redefines what beauty is and shows that you don’t have to be twenty to be sexy. “Nicole knows who she is and she knows she is healthy, fit and happy,” they added.
