The Finale update 1.5.5 fixes the damage to weapons and gadgets with a medium build and fixes the strange GPU crash bug
The finale has received a new patch that makes major balance changes to the Medium build and more.
Update 1.5.5 went live today (January 24) with a focus on bringing some much-needed balance tweaks to the Medium build, specifically by nerfing some of its weapons. The update also shortened the duration of invulnerability after a revival.
Noting that it is considered player feedback, Embark Studios explained that it will also revise the Medium build’s Recon Senses skill, which is currently being worked on.
“You can look forward to that change and more in next week’s update,” the studio confirmed.
Additionally, the patch also implemented a fix for an issue that caused certain player GPUs to crash, while also updating tournament matchmaking in a change that “will lead to a wider gap in player skill in tournaments.”
In addition to these technical changes, players can also find a number of new goodies in the in-game store, including the brand new Contam Couture Set, complete with a yellow hazard suit, gas mask and shovel charm.
