June 2021: A rocky island romance

Toby entered the Love Island villa during the seventh season as one of the original contestants, before Chloe later made her entrance as one of the first stunners.

Originally linked to co-star Kaz Kamwi, Toby quickly turned his head when he showed interest in Chloe – sneaking a kiss from the blonde beauty on the terrace as they struck up a romance.

The pair went through a rocky relationship on the show, with his head turned by both Abigail Rawlings and Mary Bedford, but they eventually found their way back to each other.

August 2021: Making things official

Despite the turbulent journey, Chloe and Toby turned things around and became fans’ favorites as they reached the final, finishing second behind Millie Court and Liam Reardon.

But before walking away with the second-place title, Toby asked Chloe to be his girlfriend with a sweet speech during their final statements.

Gushing over the blonde beauty, Toby said: “I’m not the best with words, but for you Chlo, I’m willing to try. As I read this declaration of love with those piercing blue eyes looking at me, I know that if I look up, I might lose all composure! Chloe, will you be my girlfriend?’

November 2021: Living together

Their romance only seemed to go from strength to strength after Love Island, when Toby and Chloe announced they were moving in together and renting a £1million rental property in Essex.

A source told MailOnline at the time: ‘This is the first time Toby has lived away from home and had a girlfriend, so it’s a big step for him and for them both as a couple.

April 2022: Rift Rumors

The couple were hit with a wave of split rumors in April, with many saying they ‘didn’t have time for each other’ due to their conflicting work schedules.

May 2022: First holiday together

But after busting the rumor mill, they jetted off to Jamaica in May where they enjoyed their first holiday together, showing fans they were stronger than ever as they shared a slew of snaps from the holiday.

Chloe filmed a short clip as they walked through Montego Bay airport and shouted: “We made it!”

August 2022: Happy 1 year!

Chloe and Toby are celebrating their one year anniversary, with the latter sharing a sweet post and pens: ‘Time flies when you’re having fun! Happy 1 year anniversary’

October 17, 2022: It’s all over now that Chloe and Toby have ‘grown apart’

A source told MailOnline that Chloe and Toby, 23, are still living at their home in Essex but are making arrangements to go their separate ways after a difficult few months of trying to make the relationship work.

“Chloe and Toby have put everything into their relationship, but it just isn’t working between them,” a source explains.

‘There is no wrongdoing, they just grew apart and over time they realized it was better for both of them to separate.

‘Of course Chloe found the breakup difficult, but the time she was able to spend abroad with Millie gave her the space she needed to move on.’
