Absurd moment MSNBC’s Joy Reid rips into Moms for Liberty Founder for seeking to ban school book that features underage kids discussing ‘blow jobs and strap-on dildos’

MSNBC host Joy Reid and Moms for Liberty co-founder Tiffany Justice clashed over the organization’s efforts to ban books containing sexually explicit material from schools.

The controversial presenter delved into Justice on Friday about parental rights and who gets to decide which books are available in school libraries.

During the interview, Reid and Justice talked about the book All Boys Aren’t Blue, a title that has been banned in 29 counties across the country.

“What is the expertise that you and other Moms for Liberty advocates have to decide that a book, an award-winning book like All Boys Aren’t Blue, is not appropriate for student reading,” Reid said.

Justice said, “In what context is a strap-on acceptable in public school, I mean that’s my question to you.”

Reid questioned Justice about her expertise and parental rights. Justice replied: ‘I don’t have to be an expert to know that dildos are not suitable for public schools’

“Tell me the context surrounding the strap-on dildo or the rape of a minor child by a teacher,” Justice said.

Reid then questioned Justice about the book’s main character, saying the Moms For Liberty co-founder presented herself as an expert on the book.

“What I’m saying to you is that you are not an expert on this book,” Reid said.

Justice said, “I don’t need to be an expert to know that dildos are not appropriate for public schools, I mean, come on, let’s be honest.”

Reid asked why a parent whose child might feel seen by this story wouldn’t have the right to have it read.

Justice responded by saying that if a child feels seen by this story, it means he has been the victim of a predator.

Reid then accused her of once again claiming to be an expert and asked her for proof that a child had been raped.
