Chiefs stars forced to have COLD SHOWERS as Bills ‘turn off the hot water’, claims Kansas City’s Donovan Smith – after playing in 20 degrees – but it doesn’t stop Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes leading the locker room celebrations!
Kansas City Chiefs man Donovan Smith claimed his team was forced to shower with cold water after their dramatic win against Buffalo Bills.
After the team returned to the locker room following a breathtaking 27-24 victory, Smith tweeted: “Damn I caught an L and they turned off our hot water… smh it’s all good we got that Dub today #ChiefsKingdom’.
It was a small price to pay for the Chiefs after a thrilling win over the Bills that left them one win from the Super Bowl.
The Chiefs shared photos of Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes leading the locker room festivities after a stunning win.
Coach Andy Reid was snapped giving a victory speech to the team and, perhaps ironically, appeared to rub his hands together for warmth.
The Chiefs were cooking on the field, but they were battling the Bills in bitterly cold Buffalo temperatures. In the days leading up to the match, snow had fallen in the city, dropping to a bitter 19 degrees on the night itself.
The team also released a video of Kelce, who scored two touchdowns that night, making his way through the locker room to congratulate his teammates.
“F***ing love you brother,” Mahomes can be heard saying to an excited Kelce.
