Reese Witherspoon sends fans into a frenzy after eating the snow off her car as a wintery sweet treat: ‘It’s filthy. Yuck!’

Reese Witherspoon has fans freaking out after she decided to use the snowy weather to her advantage and turn it into a sweet treat.

On Thursday, the 47-year-old actress shared on Tik Tok her recipe for a winter-themed drink that she has called Snow Salt Chococinno.

In the clip, The Big Little Lies star starts by scraping snow off her car with two mugs before covering the snow with salted caramel and chocolate syrup.

She explained: ‘We’ve had a lot of snow the last few days, so we decided to make a recipe.

‘First we scooped the snow into cups and added salted caramel syrup and some chocolate syrup, because we like it together.’

Reese then added some cold brew for a ‘nice coffee taste’ before delving into her creation.

Reese ate spoonfuls of snow and proudly announced, “Oh my god, that’s so good,” before calling it her “Snow Salt Chococinno.”

Still, fans didn’t seem to see the tasty side of the recipe, as they instead expressed their concerns about the star eating dirty snow.

One asked: ‘Isn’t snow dirty??’ while another suggested: ‘What if birds pooped in that snow’.

Someone else commented: ‘Snow is nasty. Bah.’ and aNother sounded, “I love you, but no thank you. Snow is so dirty and full of bacteria.’

Another wrote: ‘I thought eating snow was dangerous to our health’, and another added: ‘it’s gross, it’s a fact…Rain isn’t clean either…’

Another wrote: ‘Am I the only one concerned that she took it off her car?’, to which Reese herself replied: ‘It was the grill but is that a big deal???’

Another then replied: ‘I was concerned about the cleanliness of it’.

While another added: ‘Fallen snow can be very dirty from the air and wind but who cares. You only live once. I remember eating snow as a child’.

Reese responded to this comment in a separate Tik Tok and laughed: ‘We fall a bit into the category of: you only live once and it snows here maybe once a year.

“I also want to say something else, it was delicious,” she added, laughing, “It was so good.”

Still, it didn’t stop there as Reese shared another Tik Tok to try and prove her snow was clean.

As one viewer suggested: ‘Can you put snow in a clear cup and let it melt? I want to see if it’s safe to eat first,” Reese decided to do just that.

She held up a clear cup of water and said: “There are so many people here who say snow is dirty, so we went and got snow out of the backyard and put it in the microwave, and it’s clear.

She continued, clearly perplexed, “Is this bad? Shouldn’t I eat snow?’

Commenting on the video, some fans were still concerned as they told the star, “microorganisms you can’t see, but everything will be fine.”

In an interview with Fox again in February 2023, Dr. Laura Martin, an assistant professor at the Ohio State University College of Medicine, revealed whether snow is really safe to eat.

While it is common knowledge that yellow snow is bad, Dr. Martin that Freshly fallen snow is actually the least safe to eat because it can collect chemical contaminants from the air as it falls.
