Taylor Swift fans fume over glaring error on VIP tickets for the Australian leg of her Eras tour

Australian fans are furious after discovering an error on their Eras Tour VIP tickets.

With just a month to go before Taylor Swift performs her highly anticipated concert Down Under, fans who purchased VIP tickets are receiving their packages.

However, many have noticed a glaring error on the tickets and are not happy about it.

The packages, which range from $349 to $1,249.90, include a carrying case, pin, stickers and a laminated card.

But many have noticed that the laminated card has ‘2023’ written on it instead of ‘2024’.

“For the kind of crazy prices paid for these packs, you would at least expect the year printed to be correct,” one fan wrote.

‘The VIP Eras tour packages for Australia are SO ***, especially with what we paid for them. we don’t get the city specific poster that the US has, we don’t get early access or VIP merchandise lines like the US got, and our collector’s ticket says 2023??? Embarrassing for Taylor and her team,” wrote another.

Some fans were more forgiving, pointing out that the tour started in 2023, so it “makes sense.”

“Aus tour VIP boxes came with old souvenir tickets from 2023. We bought tickets for the Eras Tour 2024,” wrote another.

Taylor Swift last performed in Australia in 2018 during her Reputation tour.

In the years since, she has released four new albums and reissued some of her previous records.

Eras will cover an entire section of her music catalog, with more than 40 songs over three and a half hours.

The star will take to the stage in Australia in February, playing three shows at Melbourne’s MCG (February 16, 17 and 18) and four at Sydney’s Accor Stadium (February 23, 24, 25 and 26).
