Alec Musser’s former girlfriend and close friend Lucy Faddoul has paid tribute to the late actor, honoring the All My Children star for his “unwavering spirit of lifelong fun and adventure.”

Musser, who was also known for his guest role on Desperate Housewives, was found dead by his fiancée Paige Press of an apparent gunshot wound to the chest in his Del Mar, California, home on Saturday, January 13. At home.

Speaking exclusively to DailyMail.com, Faddoul said news of Musser’s death had been ‘devastating’.

The reality star, who won the first season of Bachelor in Paradise, revealed that despite dating for three years until 2014, the pair have remained good friends ever since and that she had last heard from the fitness model in December.

“We spoke monthly to inquire about each other’s lives,” the TV star explained. ‘This has been devastating to me, my heart is in a million pieces.’

Faddoul explained how the couple’s relationship was important in her life, as she said, “We met at La B’eurge in Del Mar in 2011. Alec was my first love, who turned into my forever friend.

“The last time I saw him was at my vacation home in La Quinta, California. We played tennis and rode the golf cart around La Quinta.”

The reality star, who first appeared on season 18 of The Bachelor, reminisced on some of her favorite memories she shared with the star, as she said in a tribute:Alec was born with a pair of skis in one hand and a surfboard in the other. He had a spirit that was competitive in the most jubilant of ways.

‘I am one of the many he taught to ski. As he gave instructions on how to make pizza, I was already halfway up the mountain, straight towards a tree. After I fell in the snow, he grinned and said, “Well, you had to stop somehow.”

She continued, “I would have much rather had one of our favorites together, a slice of pizza and a root beer.

‘He took such pride in eating healthily. Even though he was a cookie monster, he always made the tastiest and healthiest meals to share.”

Faddoul added, “I will never forget his need for speed moto track days, our rides through Rancho Santa Fe, our days at the ranch, our Mexico trip with Uncle Ricky, and most of all our countless sunset walks with his father’s love. life, his dog Calle.’

The elderly care facility owner concluded: “I admire his passion, his determination, simplicity and above all his unwavering spirit of fun and adventure for life.

The reality star dated Musser from 2011 to 2014 before finding love with husband Marcus Grodd on the first season of Bachelor In Paradise later that same year.

Musser was found in his bathroom after the press last saw him alive on the evening of Friday, Jan. 12, according to a news release from the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office issued Tuesday.

The next morning, Press found Musser “sitting and slumped over” on the bathroom floor with a wound to the chest and a firearm next to him.

Musser previously played the role of Del Henry in the long-running television series All My Children.

In July 2005, he landed the role after winning the second season of the SOAPnet original series I Wanna Be a Soap Star.

He appeared for a total of 43 episodes until he left the drama series in 2007.

He also appeared in Grown Ups, Desperate Housewives, Road to the Altar and Rita Rocks.

The New York native was an avid athlete even as a child and was also a fitness model.

After graduating from the University of San Diego, he began working with the professional ski patrol at Mammouth Mountain.

There he was scouted by an agent for his first modeling job at Abercrombie and Fitch.

His many other modeling credits include GQ, Cosmopolitan, Men’s Health, Speedo and Target.

After landing national commercials, he auditioned for I Wanna Be a Soap Star.

In recent years, he has been away from Hollywood but has maintained a presence on social media as he often posts about his active lifestyle and fitness journey.

His last Instagram post was of him participating in one of his favorite outdoor activities: surfing on January 9.
