And she revealed her role on This Is Us helped her prepare for motherhood.
“Playing Rebecca on #ThisIsUs actually kind of prepared me for it, like changing a diaper for the first time and running around with ‘triplets,'” she said.
She went on to say that she realizes she won’t always “get it right.”
“Rebecca Pearson said it best: ‘My job is to stand there with my arms wide open, waiting for you to maybe drop in someday when you need me to,’” she wrote.
“And if you do, I will love you. And if you don’t, I will love you too – because that’s what it means to be a parent.
“You’ll see one day,” she added.

“And I’m just trying to kind of have grace with myself and recognize that every day is going to throw another obstacle in my path and just find a way through it.” Keep putting one foot in front of the other.”
