I couldn’t understand why my ‘best friend’ dumped me as a bridesmaid and banned me from her wedding – then I heard a disgusting rumour about me from the hen’s party
A young woman who wasn’t invited to her friend’s wedding after the hen party from hell has revealed her boyfriend then ‘spread lies about her’ to ‘save face’.
Amy Dickinson, who went viral after opening up about how she was dumped by her ‘bridezilla’ boyfriend, said the ‘pathetic’ excuse her former friend gave others hurt the most.
“She made up a story to shame me because the truth would be too embarrassing,” she said.
The truth is, as Amy sees it, the entire group was “walking on eggshells” during the bachelorette weekend — because the bride-to-be was a bridezilla.
Then, on the last night, one of her friends got yelled at for taking pictures of Amy and the bride, causing her to run to the bathroom crying.

Amy followed her tearful friend into the bathroom to comfort her.
When she returned to the group she was completely frozen. The bride’s mother said this was because she posted a photo from the hen weekend on Instagram – which apparently broke an unspoken rule of hen parties.
The bride’s mother told her she had “ruined everything” by posting the photo before the bride had a chance to post anything from the weekend.
By the time the group returned to Australia, however, the story behind the friendship breakdown had changed again.
This time, the reason for the breakup was apparently because Amy was too “slutty on the weekend” and hooked up with a guy on a boat.

The lie was confirmed by a third friend who said she was told that Amy had not only slept with a “random guy” on a boat, but with “a yacht captain.”
Five years after the traumatic friendship breakup, Amy refuses to see the funny side.
‘I wasn’t invited to sleep with the captain of a yacht. First of all, that’s not true and secondly, why would you invite someone to a wedding if he’s fucked a yacht captain?’ she said seething.
“First of all, isn’t that legendary and second of all, why would you give anything for it?”
Amy’s social media followers agreed that meeting the captain of a yacht on a stag weekend would be legendary.
“I think she’s jealous of you.” She doesn’t want anyone to outdo her. By withdrawing your invitation she has removed her threat. She is pathetic,” one person said.
Others said they’d seen Amy’s story “everywhere” and hoped the bridezilla had too.
One man joked that he was a yacht captain if Amy was still interested.
