Coco Gauff overcomes shaky start to beat fellow American Caroline Dolehide in the Australian Open second round

Coco Gauff entered the third round of the Australian Open on Tuesday evening with a straight set victory over Caroline Dolehide.

The reigning US Open champion survived a scare in the first set as she outlasted her compatriot in a tiebreak to emerge victorious 7-6 (7-2).

The 19-year-old eventually sealed second-round victory over world number 42 Dolehide in the second set, setting up a clash against American 23-year-old Alycia Parks.
