Jim Harbaugh will interview with the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday.
The Michigan Wolverines head coach spent the past week celebrating their national championship success, but is now ready to have conversations about his future.
Harbaugh is one of the most in-demand coaches in this year’s carousel of changes and the Chargers are still trying to replace Brandon Staley.
It remains unclear where Chargers officials will meet with Harbaugh.
But NFL insider Adam Schefter says neither side will rush into a decision, with the Chargers still eager to talk to other possible suitors.

He has also been linked to head coach openings at the Las Vegas Raiders and Washington Commanders openings.
Harbaugh was also linked to the Chicago Bears, but those rumors have died down after the team opted to retain current head coach Matt Eberflus.
After the National Championship victory, Harbaugh chose not to answer questions about his future when asked by reporters.
“I just want to enjoy this,” Harbaugh said. ‘I just want to enjoy this. I hope you give me that.
‘Can a man have that? Should it always be ‘what’s next’, what is the future?’
Despite leading the Wolverines to a win in the College Football Playoff National Championship, it was a tumultuous season for Harbaugh that saw him suspended twice.

Harbaugh is also staring at the possibility of being hit with another NCAA charge after allegedly misleading investigators during an investigation into possible recruiting violations by the Wolverines, which could seemingly make this the perfect time for him to ride off into the sunset at his alma mater and returns to the NFL for some unfinished business.
He previously managed the San Francisco 49ers from the 2011-2014 seasons and repeatedly came within shouting distance of Super Bowl glory.
In 2013 he lost the Super Bowl to the Baltimore Ravens, coached by his brother John, and in 2011 and 2013 he lost in the playoffs to eventual Super Bowl winners the New York Giants and Seattle Seahawks.
Harbaugh’s championship-winning quarterback JJ McCarthy has already decided he’s NFL-bound and declared for the draft, along with school-record running back Blake Corum.
