Critics Choice Awards 2024: Harrison Ford, 81, looks dapper in a tuxedo and bowtie while wife Calista Flockhart, 59, wows in purple on the red carpet
Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart radiated happiness as they arrived arm in arm at the 29th Critics Choice Awards on Sunday night.
The Star Wars actor, 81, looked handsome in a classic black tuxedo on the red carpet in Santa Monica, where he held hands with his wife of almost 24 years, Calista Flockhart, 59.
The Ally McBeal actress wore a beautiful, sleeveless dress with a floral print in a slightly deeper shade of purple.
The mother-of-one wore her purple dress with sheer black opera gloves and wore her hair pulled back with tendrils framing her face.
Ford’s AppleTV+ show Shrinking is nominated for Best Comedy Series, and he received an additional nod for Best Supporting Actor for his role as Dr. Paul Rhodes.
Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart have defied the odds in two ways: the length of their Hollywood marriage and their age difference
He will also be honored with the Career Achievement Award.
The longtime couple remained glued to each other as they walked the red carpet, stopping at several points to look at each other adoringly.
Last week, Ford was chivalrous at the Golden Globes.
He sat next to Best Actress winner Lily Gladstone, who was reluctant to go to the toilet, fearing she wouldn’t return before her category was declared.
Luckily for her, Ford took action as his iconic Han Solo character would have done.
“He was the best,” Gladstone told host Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show on December 11.
‘When I had to go to the toilet, he stood up Han Solo-style and ran to the cameraman: ‘Where’s the toilet? What’s the order? When’s she up?’
The first Indigenous person to win a Golden Globe died from the Indiana Jones actor’s impersonation as she narrated the moment.
Ford’s Shrinking co-star, Jessica Williams, is also nominated for a Critic’s Choice Award, and she revealed that the cast of the comedy starring Jason Segal, Christa Miller and Michael Urie has a group text — but Ford isn’t invited to it.

‘Harrison is absolutely not into it. You could say it’s a group chat minus one,” she told The New York Post.
“I just don’t think he’s texting. I don’t think he needs to text. I don’t even know if he has a phone,” she added.
And while Ford isn’t in the group chat, Williams said on set that he’s a lot of fun.
“He’s a classic joke teller,” she said. “Like, you know people who give you a set-up, give you a punchline and tell you a story… It’s just such a cool, old-fashioned thing to do.”
