Revealed: The secret lives of Kieran and Macaulay Culkin’s FIVE other siblings in the wake of Kieran’s Golden Globes success

They are the showbiz family that has produced household names like Macaulay Culkin, 43, and Kieran Culkin, 41.

But the famous couple share five other siblings who are much lesser known, including actor brother Rory Culkin.

And it was Macaulay’s father Kit, who tried to give all six of the superstar’s siblings an on-screen career.

However, most of Macaulay’s siblings have preferred a life away from the spotlight.

In the wake of Kieran’s Golden Globe triumph this week for his memorable role in HBO’s Succession, we look at the secret lives of the Culkin clan.

Born in 1970, Jennifer was Macaulay’s half-sister and the only Culkin who did not go into show business.

Kit Culkin shared Jennifer with Adeena Van Wagoner who he dated before marrying Macaulay’s mother, Patricia Brentrup.

Sadly, Jennifer died of a drug overdose in 2000 at the age of 29.

At the time of her death, Jennifer was building a career as a caregiver for people with disabilities.

It was Macaulay’s father Kit, who tried to give all six of Macaulay’s siblings an on-screen career, but most stayed out of the spotlight. Shane Culkin

Shane, 48, is Macaulay’s eldest brother.

It is known that he does not have a high profile today, but it was Shane who was actually the first Culkin to step into the spotlight.

A future actor, the handsome performer appeared in a New York Broadway production of the play Our Town in 1988… three years before younger brother Macaulay shot to fame in Home Alone.

Kit, who managed his children’s careers, would send Macaulay to auditions with Shane.

And later, reports surfaced that the adorable Macaulay would “steal” the role intended for his older brother, as casting director found the younger Culkin simply too irresistible.

Dakota Culkin

Macaulay’s older sister Dakota was born in 1978.

After her father encouraged her to try acting, Dakota, who went by the family nickname “Cody,” opted for a career behind the scenes.

Dakota moved to Hollywood at the end of Naughties and had a role in a horror film called Lost Soul in the production design department and worked as an assistant.

Later, film director Dana Schroeder told The List that Dakota was determined to build a career as a filmmaker.

However, Dakota’s life was cut short in 2008 when she died after being hit by a car.

Reports confirmed that the bright young woman was struck while crossing the road after a night out at a bar in Los Angeles’ Marina De Rey.

An LAPD spokesperson later stated that Dakota died at the hospital after suffering serious head injuries in the crash Tuesday evening.

When Macaulay’s son was born in 2021, he named him Dakota after his beloved late sister.

Quinn Culkin

Macaulay’s sister Quinn, 39, started out as a child star, appearing as a voice actor with her Home Alone star brother in the animated series Wish Kid in 1991.

She co-starred again with Macaulay in The Good Son in 1993, but eventually escaped show business for the quiet life.

Before those roles, keen-eyed fans could spot Quinn in one of the airport scenes from Home Alone.

Most reports indicate that Quinn is reluctant to reveal much about her private life or career.

However, last month she made headlines in a rare appearance when she joined Macaulay as he received a star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame.

Christian Culkin

Christian Culkin, 36, quit acting early in his life to become a writer.

Christian, the second youngest of the Culkin children, stars alongside his brother Kieran in the 1994 film My Summer Story.

As genetically blessed as his other siblings, Christian, who goes by Chris, began writing early in life.

He also studied film and earned a Master of Fine Arts and published articles in Lid Magazine and The Waverly Press.

Rory Culkin

At 34, Rory is the youngest of the Culkin clan and appears to be pursuing an acting career.

The sexy young star’s profile went viral last year when he appeared naked in a scene in the Amazon Prime Video series Swarm, starring Dominique Fishback.

Rory set pulses racing in the horror thriller in an infamous scene where his character’s penis is pressed against a glass bowl of strawberries.

Like his more famous brothers, Rory started out as a child star and even appeared with Macaulay in The Good Son way back in 1993.

His more recent roles include the Netflix series Black Mirror and the Disney+ series Under The Banner of Heaven.
