Josh Hutcherson reacts to potential Hunger Games reunion with Jennifer Lawrence and Liam Hemsworth – as he reveals whether Five Nights At Freddy’s will get a sequel

It’s been over a decade since he played Peeta Mellark in the iconic fantasy film franchise The Hunger Games.

And Josh Hutcherson has revealed he would ‘absolutely’ be interested in joining his former castmates, including Jennifer Lawrence and Liam Hemsworth, for a reunion.

“Those four years of making those films were some of the best of my career and some of the most fun,” the American actor, 31, told the newspaper. The Daily Telegraph on Sunday when he was questioned about a possible Hunger Games reunion.

“If they get the gang back together, like a reunion, I’m in 100 percent,” he said.

Hutcherson also responded to rumors of a sequel to his hugely successful 2023 horror film Five Nights At Freddy’s.

Speaking to the publication, the actor confirmed that he has signed on for multiple films in the franchise and hopes to begin filming the first sequel in 2024.

“They haven’t made anything official yet, but I think they’re trying to tell the next story because there are so many avenues you can go into with all the different versions of the games and the worlds and stuff,” he revealed.

“So they’re trying to see what that story will look like, but I think they’re hoping to film it hopefully this year, so we’ll see how that all comes down the pipeline.”

Five Nights At Freddy’s is an adaptation of the iconic video game series created by Scott Cawthon in 2014.

It follows the story of a troubled security guard named Matt Schmidt, who starts a new job at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria, an abandoned themed restaurant with a group of possessed animatronics.

Teamed up with a local police officer (Elizabeth Lail) and his younger sister (Piper Rubio), Mike soon discovers that the gig won’t be a walk in the park.

Meanwhile, Hutcherson’s latest film project is the action thriller The Beekeeper, in which he stars opposite Jason Statham.
