Travis Kelce jokes he’ll ‘HEADBUTT somebody’ to stay warm as Chiefs star gears up for brutal -30 wind-chill in playoff game vs. Miami Dolphins – with girlfriend Taylor Swift set to cheer him on from the stands in Kansas City
Travis Kelce joked that he won’t miss the frigid conditions tonight for Chiefs vs. Dolphins will prevail by ‘headbutting someone’ in game at Arrowhead Stadium.
Temperatures in Kansas City will drop to around 0 on Saturday night with a brutal wind chill of -30 as last year’s Super Bowl winners host the Miami Dolphins in the playoffs.
During the bonus episode of his New Heights podcast, Kelce told his brother Jason that he enjoys competing in the blistering cold.
‘I don’t think anyone really cares about the weather, at least I don’t. I don’t care,” Kelce said. ‘I try not to even think about it, so I don’t make excuses. I know that in cold weather games the hand gets a little stiff and the body can get a little stiff.
“You just have to stay warm on the sideline, take a few punches, get your hands up, get the blood flow going in the hands and then just go out there and headbutt someone because that gets the blood flow going. a little more than normal.

There was snow to be cleared at Arrowhead Stadium this week, but the cold isn’t letting up
“It’ll be cold and you know what, hopefully that will slow down the speed of the Miami offense. That’s world-class speed.’
It has been snowing in Kansas City this week, but it is expected to clear at least before Saturday’s game. Kelce was pictured Friday driving through a snowstorm on his way to practice as his team finalized their plans for the Dolphins game.
Kelce enters Saturday night’s game after missing the final regular-season game in Los Angeles against the Chargers last week to rest.
He was just 16 yards shy of an eighth straight 1,000-yard season but opted to sit it out after being limited in practice in the run-up.
The Chiefs played the Dolphins once in the regular season, beating them 12-14 in Germany.
“It’s hard to beat someone twice,” Kelce said. “That was proven when we lost to the Raiders and the Broncos for the second time.
‘It’s never easy. But at the same time, the playoffs usually bring a little more creativity and single-minded focus. For me it’s almost like playing against the team for the first time.
‘Only the mentality is a little more tactical, a little more focused on everything. It will be quite a challenge.’
Kelce’s girlfriend, Taylor Swift, is expected to come to Arrowhead Stadium for the game on Saturday night.
