After a good year for Premium Bonds, when the only way to increase the prize fund rate was, savers were dealt a blow this week when a cut was introduced.
The prize fund rate will be reduced from 4.65 percent to 4.4 percent.

Later, Lee reveals his car insurance woes – and shares tips on how to deal with the pain of your own renewal.
And finally, find out who on the podcast team isn’t drinking in January, who’s taking a very haphazard approach, and who’s planning to go all the way to Easter, while Georgie, Lee and Simon are taking the no and the low discuss. alcohol-beer-boom – and the one they rate best.
