Deontay Wilder breaks down in TEARS on The Traitors while declaring he ‘CAN’T go on’ – after influencing contestants to vote out Dancing with the Stars professional Maks Chmerkovskiy
Traitors star Deontay Wilder was reduced to tears and came close to quitting season two after falsely accusing Maks Chmerkovskiy of being a traitor and banning him from the game.
The 38-year-old boxing champion influenced the downfall of the Dancing with the Stars pro, 43, even going so far as to accuse him of having a ‘poker face that could fool a clown’ during the dramatic roundtable discussion.
After convincing the majority of his other celebrity players to vote out Maks, Deontay was left devastated when the dancer confirmed he was a stalwart.
The sportsman lay on the couch crying as Love Island UK’s Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu discussed the group’s thwarted attempt to catch a traitor with British former politician John Bercow, Real Housewives alumni Tamra Judge and Phaedra Parks, and Bling Empire star Kevin Kreider.

Maks, 43, became the second celebrity to be voted out of the competition in the third episode of season two
Deontay had previously voted out loyal RuPaul’s Drag Race star Peppermint.
“I don’t know how much more I can take,” Deontay admitted. ‘My heart. I can’t do this anymore, man.
“This shit is too much for me.”
Kevin offered his support and responded, “Deontay, we need you man.”
As Deontay continued to shed tears, Phaedra, who unbeknownst to the rest of the group is a traitor, went to him to comfort him and wipe away his tears.
“Don’t cry,” she said. ‘It’s a difficult game.’
In her confessional, Phaedra said of the sports legend’s character, “Deontay is so emotional and angry about Maks’ departure because he is in favor of his friend’s departure.”
“This isn’t what he does,” she continued.

Before going bankrupt, Deontay had been a key player in Maks’ ouster from the game after becoming convinced that the professional dancer was a traitor.
Deontay had announced to his fellow roundtable participants, “Certain people have changed their minds since the first time I met them.
“This man, he’s charming. This man is intelligent. He has a poker face that could fool a clown.”
He then turned to Maks and announced, “It’s you, Maks.”
“The way you move is that of a traitor, the way you smile is that of a traitor, the way you speak, you are a leader,” he continued.
Deontay had accused Maks of smiling, speaking and leading “like a traitor.”
When he was voted out, Maks declared, “I promise, no long speeches. I am a believer
At the end of the roundtable, Maks had collected the majority of votes, with a total of ten against him.
Before leaving the game for good, he entered the circle of truth and simply stated, “I promise, no long speeches. I’m a believer.’
As the camera panned towards Deontay, the boxer appeared visibly upset by the outcome.
Presenter Alan Cumming turned to the remaining players and announced: ‘Trouw, you have struck another decisive blow. Unfortunately it was against yourself.
“You’re really making it easy for the Traitors.”
He continued: “A recalibration is in order, a team tactics discussion before the next roundtable attack. But that will have to wait until tomorrow.
“For those of you who find yourself in the Traitors’ crosshairs, it may be too late. Good night.’
The Traitors is a nerve-wracking psychological adventure in which betrayal and deception play the leading role.
Season two of The Traitors features 21 of the most competitive reality stars and famous faces on TV
Led by Alan in an ancient castle deep in the Scottish Highlands, the celebrity contestants team up on a series of exciting missions to build up a prize pool worth up to $250,000.
Hidden among the believers are the traitors, whose goal is to eliminate the believers and claim the prize money for themselves.
Under the cover of darkness, the traitors kill the Believers one by one in a treacherous attack, while the Believers try to discover them and banish them from the game.
If the loyal participants banish all traitors, they will share the prize money, but if a traitor or traitors make it to the end, they will steal all the money.
