The 28-year-old is the first hooper to run 100 winners in a racing season in metropolitan Melbourne and counts the Doncaster Handicap and Hong Kong Classic Mile among her biggest wins.

Having ridden more than 1,000 winners, she is now one of the stars of the Miles In Front horse racing documentary on Binge and Kayo, and is known for her uncanny knack for knowing how a horse wants to run.

She believes that keeping a close eye on how the horses behave in the stables before a race is a good way to spot a winner — and which ones you shouldn’t put your money on.

“It’s their attitude at the assembly point,” Kah told Ny Breaking Australia.

“When they’re sweating, jigging, trotting and not walking, it’s very difficult for us to go out and ride them and get them to listen to us, to put them in the right place in the race.” to make. It’s hard to keep them focused.

‘What you want to see is that they behave and are relaxed at the installation site. That’s a big positive.’

The Gai Waterhouse-trained Storm Boy is the favorite to contest the Magic Millions 2YO Classic on the Gold Coast on Saturday, but Kah would like another runner.

“I think (trainer) Tony McEvoy’s horse is impossible to beat, Arabian Summer,” she said.

“Put the house on it.”

Glen Boss hosted the Miles In Front and won a list of major races longer than the Flemington straight, including three Melbourne Cups in a row on the legendary Makybe Diva.

He has his eye on trainer Michael Freedman’s participation in the race.

“His win was pretty solid, they gave him a pinkie and he recently had a trial run as a real horse. To be honest, I think he’s the one to beat.”

That echoes the choice of one of Australia’s leading bookmakers, Anthony Waller, CEO of BetRight.

“Barriers are critical in two-year-old racing, which is why Highness is our top choice,” Waller explained.

‘If Highness gets out of barrier four he will have a shootout and looks ideally suited, with further improvement expected since his previous win in the Wyong lead-up race.

“Being a well-bred colt by Snitzel, your Highness connections will no doubt be keeping an eye on a great stud when he salutes on Saturday.”

Waller thinks Kah’s choice isn’t far off either Bet Right’s odds on the rest of the field can be found here.

“With last week’s quick backup, Arabian Summer will be on schedule and give backers a good view.

‘She couldn’t have been more impressive coming in, albeit against weaker opposition at the same track last Saturday and it’s fair to say team McEvoy knows what it takes to win a Magic Millions 2yo Classic after taking a few years ago had tasted success with firearms galloper Sunlight.’
