1000-Lb. Sisters star Tammy Slaton furiously claps back at a troll who criticized her teeth and told her to ‘get them fixed’: ‘It is not helping my confidence’
TLC star Tammy Slaton has angrily clapped back at a troll who criticized her teeth.
The 37-year-old, from Kentucky, responded with some very stern words on TikTok after a social media user left a comment urging her to “fix those teeth.”
She explained, “With all due respect, I wish people like you would stop making comments like that. It doesn’t help my self-confidence.’
Tammy said people should “lift each other up” as dozens of others rallied to offer support for the reality star.

Tammy addressed the comment as she explained: ‘I was trying to boost my confidence and seeing comments about my chin or my teeth doesn’t help.
‘Having my teeth repaired costs money that I don’t have now.’
She continued, “I had to calm myself down before I answered because I really wanted to attack you. I really wanted to tell you that if you have a real problem with my teeth, you have to pay for it yourself.
‘But I don’t want to be that person. I do not want to be rude.’
The 1000 lbs. The Sisters star said she was “trying to improve her life” before adding: “We should lift each other up.” It doesn’t matter if I’m missing teeth.
‘It is pathetic. Why hate? Why can’t you just appreciate the hard work I put in? Why can’t you just appreciate that I’m still alive? Yes, I have flaws. I am a human.’
Tammy defiantly concluded, “I’m not going to let you or anyone else ruin my day.”

A fourth person wrote: ‘Chin up, beautiful!!! You have made such changes and (are making) such steps!!!! Be proud!!!!’
One person added: ‘No matter what you look like, people will always find something to pick up on, so don’t let those miserable people ruin your day.’

Tammy, who was previously wheelchair-bound and required oxygen, achieved her weight loss goal – from 350kg to 534kg – and successfully qualified for bariatric surgery at the end of 2022.
