Tiffany Haddish is the latest star to hit back at Katt Williams after he tried to belittle her career as a comedian coming through the ranks of Hollywood.
The Girls Trip star appeared to address the latest chapter of their ongoing feud during her stand-up show at Dania Improv in Florida earlier this week.
During an appearance on Shannon Sharpe's podcast Club Shay ShayWilliams called out several black comedians, including Haddish and Kevin Hart, dismissing the idea that they had honed their talents at The Comedy Store over the years.
'They think they can rewrite history. Guy Torry did a wonderful special about The Comedy Store and Phat Tuesday, saying that Steve (Harvey) and Cedric (The Entertainer), Kevin Hart and Tiffany Haddish came through there – all lies,” Williams told Sharpe.
Haddish had something to say about that on her Thursday night by bringing up some of the shows and movies she's been in, and that she's been honing her craft since the 1990s.

'I've done so many things. I was at That's So Raven,” Haddish explained to the live audience before adding that she also did “extra work.”
“I was on TV shows for white people” and “TV shows for black people,” she revealed as she listed part of her lengthy resume as a comedian and actor. “I've been telling jokes since 1996.”
She also joked about how she made it to the stage at The Comedy Store, but only on the 'white nights, along with the 'black nights.
In keeping with her chosen profession, the Night School star also took to X (formerly known as Twitter) and responded to the accusations with a dose of her comedy.
'I am not angry. I just wish he would get his facts straight about me,” she began. “Damn, I think I'll send him a reminder text.”
She ended her comment by joking, “But are we sure this is Katt Williams? He looks a lot like Charleston White,” in a reference to the 53-year-old YouTuber and comedian who is mostly popular for his provocative jokes and controversial online personality.
Williams (born Micah Williams) has been feuding with Haddish and her close friend Kevin Hart for years, including talking about them and others while questioning their comedic credentials.
Williams has been calling out Haddish for many years, saying, among other things, that he doesn't think she deserves the success she has received.
During an appearance on Shannon Sharpe's Club Shay Shay podcast, Williams insisted Haddish never came on stage at The Comedy Club.
Haddish revealed she wasn't upset with Williams' comments and that she wished “he would get his facts straight”
In her response, Haddish joked about how Williams resembles YouTuber Charleston White
The Los Angeles native had her breakout role in the comedy film Girls Trip (2017); the comedian and actress will perform at the Laugh Factory in November 2023
'She hasn't done a tour yet. She hasn't done a special,” Williams said during an appearance on Frank and Wanda in the morning of V-103 in 2018. “She hasn't proven that she can't tell jokes to anyone for an hour.”
He also said that her hit comedy film Girls Trip was a success despite her, not because of her, and he credits the script, not Haddish's acting.
Radio show co-host Wanda Smith defended her, saying she attributes Haddish's success to her being “real.”
'Is that what they like? Oh, because everyone is real then? So don't stumble,” Williams told Smith, as reported by The Atlanta Journal Constitution. “Wherever you are, under the sound of my voice, do you have a 'real' colleague, do you have a ratchet friend? Do you have a sister, a cousin, a cousin, a niece – are they so ghetto? When did that become salable? Stop that.
Haddish decided to be kind in her response more than five years ago, writing in part, “I just want to shower you with REAL love because you need it, and I love you.”
