Megan Thee Stallion Says She's the 'Black Regina George' as She Releases Not My Fault Music Video Featuring Renee Rapp for Mean Girls Reboot
Megan Thee Stallion wore an iconic look from the Mean Girls movie for her recently released music video with Reneé Rapp.
In the visual accompaniment to their joint song Not My Fault, the 28-year-old rapper wore a white tank top with cutouts that exposed her purple bra.
To match the top, inspired by a scene from the 2004 comedy drama, she donned a short white miniskirt and also wore an icy blonde wig with bouncy curls.
The Savage hitmaker – who turned heads in a sexy, figure-hugging purple ensemble while performing at the New Year's Rockin' Eve Celebration – took to her Instagram to announce the release of the music video on Friday.
“It was only right that @meangirls recruited you Black Regina George for this one,” she wrote in her caption.

She also shared photos from the set in the same purple bra outfit, alongside an image of Regina George, played by Rachel McAdams, from the original film.
“I wouldn't be if I didn't cause a stir,” Megan wrote in her caption to the triptych of photos of both herself and the character. “Get in hotties, we're going to watch @meangirls.”
Megan and Renee's song Not My Fault – which was released just a few weeks before the music video – will be included in the upcoming musical reboot of Mean Girls.
And the title is a nod to a line that Lindsay Lohan's character Cady shouts at Lizzy Caplan's Janis from the classic film.
At the beginning of the clip, the original audio clip plays on a black screen with only the names of the two musicians.
Then Megan appears wearing a pink knit crop top paired with a fluffy hat as she appears on screen.
She stands next to Renee, who is wearing a patent leather jacket with fur lining, in front of an exhibition of Regina George mannequins.
“It's not my fault you're in love with me or anything,” the lyrics read as Rapp sings along to the tune.

In the visual preview, Megan performs multiple dance scenes with 23-year-old Renee, who reprized her role from the Broadway musical adaptation of the 2004 classic high school comedy.
In her role, Megan wore her Regina George-inspired outfit and danced on a pink cafeteria table while wearing iridescent knee-high boots with stiletto heels.
The two stunners sported all-pink ensembles in every other scene in the music video.

For part of Megan's part, she raps, “I mean who wouldn't wanna be in love with me / I'm a dull temper, I gotta get on Pinterest / I'm a stud but they come and f*** me like Trojan / And I wouldn't be if I didn't cause a commotion.'
“It's funny how the mean girl opens all the doors / Y'all were told I'm black Regina George / Bikini top, shorts, Megan core / You hated then, you hate more now.”
