Panthers owner David Tepper's actions last Sunday seemed to be the last straw for Carolina fans when they launched a petition to terminate his ownership.
On Sunday, Tepper was filmed throwing a drink at a group of rival Jacksonville Jaguars fans after his Panthers team failed to score in a 26-0 road loss.
You saw a fan in the section climbing up to the window of Tepper's suite.
The billionaire hedge fund manager then threw a drink at them before disappearing from a shot while an apparent verbal exchange took place.
After the NFL fined Tepper $300,000 for the incident, Panthers fan Joey Blethen went a step further by starting a petition for Tepper to sell the franchise.

Blethen started the petition on New Year's Day and at the time of writing it has collected more than 5,144 signatures.
Aside from the unsavory showing in Jacksonville, the petition also noted Tepper's low points from his Carolina tenure. Blethen noted Tepper trade stars Christian McCaffrey and DJ Moore, as well as future draft picks for quarterback Bryce Young.
That decision backfired when Tepper's response came Sunday after Young was intercepted with less than three minutes to play.
It was unclear whether Tepper was responding to something said to him or the latest misstep by the team with the NFL's worst record.
Nevertheless, Tepper quickly moved against the Carolinians, amassing a terrible 31-67 record since taking over in 2018.

The Panthers have missed out on playoff contention the last five years under him and are in sixth place with a 2-14 record.
Carolina fell to 0-9 on the road and was eliminated for the first time since losing to Atlanta in Week 12 in 2002.
They also acquired the No. 1 overall pick in the NFL draft in April – a selection that will go to Chicago in a 2022 trade.
Tepper's team caps off a long season by hosting the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday. Tampa Bay (8-8) was on a four-game winning streak before losing to the Saints on New Year's Eve.
