Jen Shah threatens to sue Heather Gay 'for slander and libel' over black eye accusation… shortly after proclaiming his innocence from prison
Jen Shah has threatened to sue not only Heather Gay, but also Andy Cohen and Bravo “for slander and libel” if Gay directly accuses the star of giving her a black eye during The Real Housewives Of season four reunion Salt Lake City.
The TV personality, 50 – who recently proclaimed his innocence over the alleged incident from prison – reportedly “got wind” of the reunion trailer that dropped on Wednesday.
During the segment, Cohen could be seen asking Heather, “Did Jen give you the black eye?” to which she replied, “Yes.”
A representative of Shah inquired Page six in an article published Thursday that Jen is “very likely to take legal action” depending on the “wording” used during the reunion – which will air on January 9.
“If Heather makes a direct reference to Jen Shah and gives her a black eye in the final part of the three-part RHOSLC reunion, legal action will be taken by the Shah family against Andy Cohen, NBC Universal, Bravo, Shed Media and Heather for slander and libel,” the representative said.

Shah is currently serving a nearly seven-year prison sentence after pleading guilty in July 2022 to conspiracy to commit wire fraud.
Notably, in the show's season four finale episode, Heather revealed that Jen gave her a black eye during a trip to San Diego that took place in the middle of the third season.
From prison, Shah took to her Instagram Stories on Tuesday and adamantly denied being responsible for Gay's black eye.
“Bravo, if I hit Heather in the eye, you'd have footage to prove it. Obviously the show can't live without me since I grew up at the beginning, middle and end of season 4,” Jen posted to her roughly 234,000 followers.
“Andy is still upset that I turned down his one-on-one interview. Why would you sit down with someone who 'gave' another cast member a black eye? Next story,” she added, referring to Bravo director Andy Cohen.
Heather during the season four finale titled “Mysteries, Revealed?” accused newcomer Monica Garcia of being an online troll Reality Von Tease and while admonishing her, revealed that Jen was responsible for her black eye.
Heather berated her during a group dinner on day four of the group trip to Bermuda to celebrate Monica's birthday for taking advantage of their friendship.
'There's something you missed. We're friends and we've been through this bull*** before with Jen,” Heather said, referring to former cast member Jen.

“For years we feared that we would get sick, that a lie would be posted and told and spread, exposed and exploited, but we were in it with her. And we're the ride-or-die type of girls.”
“And each of us rode hard at different times, blocking out feelings of doubt and things that weren't right. It wasn't clear who you were, but the way you acted was strangely familiar,” Heather said.
“And the pain we went through and the way we were tormented and tortured. I ate for her every damn day.”
'I felt like I had to lie to protect her. I did what was necessary. I went on a book tour and defended her and felt terrible that she gave me a black eye,” Heather revealed.
'What?' exclaimed Meredith Marks. “Wow,” said Lisa Barlow. 'Wow.'
The episode then flashed back to season three's trip to San Diego, during which Heather suffered a black eye after a late night with Jen.
The next morning she revealed her black eye to Meredith, who asked when it happened.
“We don't know,” Jen said as Heather insisted she had no memory of what happened.
Heather stuck to her story with Meredith, insisting during the show's reunion that she was too drunk to remember what happened.

Back in Bermuda, Monica congratulated Heather on her vote. “Well, I'm glad you finally told the truth for once. So good for you.'
Andy Cohen also spoke out on Wednesday after Jen's post in which she claimed he was “butt hurt” and that she didn't do a one-on-one interview before starting her prison sentence.
During the day Andy Cohen from SiriusXM live, the talk show host said, “I forgot about the one-on-one with Jen. She is right. I wanted to do a one-on-one with her. I don't care anymore. I'm over it.'
“Her stipulations were insane. She wanted me, in return, to try to remember the details. I know she wanted us to make a docuseries about her days leading up to prison.”
Andy continued, “She wanted a lot of money and she still professed her innocence, so it would have been another interview with her sitting across from me and in my face that we got from her at two reunions, so that was that. That's my response to that.'
Elsewhere in the episode, Cohen said, “As someone who just fell victim to online and phone scams in which I lost a lot of money, this message comes at an interesting time.”
The star seemingly referred to a recent incident where he was scammed by a person posing as his bank, but stated that he did not “link” Shah.
“So let me just say that. I just want to say that I am currently a victim of fraud, for which she is in prison. I'm not linking her, I'm not saying she's responsible for it, I'm just saying it's ironic that I happen to…

His co-host, John Hill, quickly intervened, saying, “But it's something hateful that she was involved in.”
Cohen also commented on Gay's black eye, stating that if the incident had been filmed, the show would have aired it.
“I don't want to be the captain here, but if we had footage, don't you think we would have broadcast it?”
He later added, “Heather says, 'I don't know how I got the black eye,' and don't you think we would have gone to the footage with a chyron saying, 'Four hours earlier.' Pop.'
