Jeffrey Epstein's victim claims she was groped by Prince Andrew at the disgraced financier's Manhattan mansion, in newly released court documents
Details of how a 20-year-old student was allegedly groped by the Duke of York at Jeffrey Epstein's Manhattan mansion have been revealed in newly released court papers.
Only snippets of Johanna Sjoberg's disturbing testimony have been made public, but the legal documents provide an unprecedented account of what allegedly happened when she met Prince Andrew in New York in 2001.
And it shows that Ms Sjoberg's story has remained consistent since she first made the allegations against the duke in The Mail on Sunday more than 15 years ago.
Prince Andrew has always denied all allegations of sexual activity with Epstein's accusers and vehemently denies any wrongdoing.
According to Mrs. Sjoberg, the prince placed his hand on her breast. He also used a Spitting Image latex doll modeled after him to grope another accuser, Virginia Giuffre, who was a teenager at the time.
Only fragments of Johanna Sjoberg's disturbing testimony have been made public. She was 20 at the time
Ms Sjoberg (pictured) began working for Epstein in 2001 and, according to her evidence, was immediately forced to perform sex acts
Asked to clarify where she was sitting when Andrew allegedly fondled her, Ms Sjoberg, now 42, said in a statement: 'I'm just trying to remember. Whether we were sitting on the couch or on a chair, I only remember the chest part, the hand on the breasts.'
Ms. Sjoberg was hired at age 20 to work as a massage therapist for Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.
In her 2016 testimony, she said: 'I was sitting on Andrew's lap and they took the doll's hands and put him on Virginia's chest, and so Andrew put his on mine.'
She added: “It looked like him. (Ghislaine) brought it down and presented it to (Prince Andrew); and that was a nice joke, because apparently it was a production from a program on the BBC.'
Ms Sjoberg claimed Maxwell took a photo of the two women being groped, but said she never saw the photo.
She said in May 2016 that she was a 20-year-old student at Palm Beach Atlantic University when Maxwell, then a stranger, approached her and offered her a job as a personal assistant.

Ms Sjoberg also said she and Ms Giuffre had been together at Epstein's Manhattan mansion with Prince Andrew
Under questioning, the witness explained how she knew that another of Epstein's masseuses, Ms. Giuffre (then known as Roberts), was underage.
Ms. Giuffre had been recruited by Maxwell the year before, in 2000, while working at Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida.
One of the court documents states: 'Johanna confirms that she knew Virginia was a minor when she met her during the trip to New York with Jeffrey in 2001 because Virginia could not get into the casino and later Johanna asked her and Virginia said that she was. 17. Johanna testified that Virginia looked young.
Johanna added: “At the time I was under the impression that she had no family or that she had run away from her family. And it seemed to me, you know, they just adopted her, not as a child, but they were going to take care of her.”
Ms. Sjoberg also said that she and Ms. Giuffre had been together at Epstein's Manhattan mansion with Prince Andrew.
Ms Giuffre claims she and the prince had sex that night, when she was 17, which Andrew strongly denies. “Johanna confirmed that she witnessed Virginia when she was 17 at Jeffrey Epstein's mansion in New York with Prince Andrew and Ghislaine Maxwell,” the documents say.
“Johanna also testified that Prince Andrew sat with Virginia and Johanna and took a photo with a doll in his image that had his hand and Prince Andrew's hand on their respective breasts.”
Ms Sjoberg also claimed that Maxwell bought her a camera and asked her to take nude photos of herself for Epstein. But she said Maxwell wouldn't give her the camera because Johanna “didn't finish the job” during a massage with Epstein.
In the wake of Maxwell's sex trafficking convictions in December 2021, the Mail revealed details of Ms Sjoberg's life as a hairdresser in Florida.
It came after she first told the Mail on Sunday in 2007 about her encounter with Andrew at Epstein's mansion on East 71st Street.
Described as a “church… all-American brunette,” she recalled arriving at the house and “Prince Andrew was there and a few other girls my age.” She said that although the prince was inappropriately tactile, he had been “charming”.
