Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady decided to crack some jokes about recent reports of an injured finger while reminding Falcons fans of the biggest collapse in Super Bowl history.

The jokes came in two separate videos Brady shot with celebrity chef Nick DiGiovanni and then posted to their Twitter accounts.

In the video posted to Brady’s own account, DiGiovanni instructs him on how to throw a knife.

“It’s just a knife throw,” DiGiovanni says. ‘Everyone does it. You just take it and put it in the plate.’

Tom Brady and Nick DiGiovanni joked about both the reports of his injured finger and the collapse of the Falcons 28-3 Super Bowl.

Tom Brady joked to fans by sharing a video of him pretending to chop his finger off on Friday

Brady then slams the knife against a cutting board, grabs his hand, screams an expletive and reveals what seems to be missing half of his index finger, while DiGiovanni looks on in horror.

The video appeared to piggyback on another video and served as an outro to the video posted to DiGiovanni’s account.

This clip served as an instructional video for making TB12 protein infused avocado ice cream.

As you go through the ingredients needed to make the ice cream, DiGiovanni asks for 28 cashews.

To which Brady responds with “and three dates…28-3”, after which he winks directly into the camera and pours the dates into a blender.

The NFL superstar was referring to the time when the Falcons took a 28-3 halftime lead in Super Bowl LI, when Brady’s former team, the New England Patriots, came back to win 34-28.

However, the Buccaneers have serious problems with Brady’s finger. While it may still be intact, the quarterback was added to Tampa Bay’s injury list on Friday, just hours after the clips were shared.

But Brady is listed as a full-fledged competitor and is still expected to play in the Buccaneers’ home opener against the Packers on Sunday.

Brady was asked about the injury on Thursday and said he felt “great,” while Bucs coach Todd Bowles said he had been a full-fledged participant in Friday practice and was “ready to go” for Sunday’s game.
