Former NFL quarterback Dan Orlovsky weirdly SNIFFS Molly Qerim’s shoe on ‘First Take’… leading to bizarre on-air exchange: ‘I gotta keep my eye on you’

To kick off his 2024, former NFL quarterback Dan Orlovsky decided to smell “First Take” co-host Molly Qerim's high heel live on air, which resulted in all three fellow panelists being disgusted.

“Are you really sniffing the shoe?” Qerim shockingly asked Orlovsky. 'I just got the shoe and I'm wearing tights. Don't be weird.'

It's too late, Molly. Not making things weird ended at the same time Orlovsky stuck his nose in a shoe where your ankle is.

'I don't know about you, Daan. I have to keep an eye on you,” Shannon Sharpe told Orlovsky, amid his own tooth-brushing obsession.

“Maybe he has a foot fetish. Then that could be one of them,” said Stephen A. Smith, known for his lack of subtlety.

Orlovsky did not comment on the smell, but had to be asked by Qerim to return the shoe

Qerim's shoes are from The Attico, a designer heel brand, and they aren't cheap, as Smith notes, as Orlovsky's toe box has just abandoned the look of a feminine high heel.

To make things even stranger, Orlovsky holds the shoe for almost half a minute before handing it back to Qerim, who calls him a “lazy heel.”

It's unclear what smelling Qerim's shoe has to do with talking about the Dallas Cowboys' controversial win over the Detroit Lions last weekend.

Orlovsky had two stints with the Lions from 2005-08 and 2014-16, with limited success.

How Orlovsky got Qerim's boot is not clear from the clip, with only the panelist's torsos visible on the broadcast.

Orlovsky has been an NFL analyst for ESPN since 2018 after retiring in 2017.

Qerim has been the regular presenter of 'First Take' since 2015.
