Chelsea midfielder Andrey Santos has attracted interest from Crystal Palace as he prepares to end his loan at Nottingham Forest.

The Brazilian has played just 97 minutes of first-team football since moving to the City Ground in the summer.

He played in Forest's EFL Cup defeat to Burnley in August and their 3-0 Premier League defeat to Liverpool in October.

Santos, 19, can only move to another team in England because FIFA limits clubs to just seven foreign loanees and Chelsea's spots are already taken.

Mauricio Pochettino's side signed the midfielder from Vasco de Gama for £18 million in January 2023, beating several other Premier League sides in his signature race, including Manchester City and Newcastle.

Andrey Santos will end his loan deal with Nottingham Forest later in January

Roy Hodgson, meanwhile, could look to Santos for midfield cover after Cheick Doucoure suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon in November that could rule him out for the rest of the season.
