It comes as Alan and Amanda's renovation series Italian Job returns to BBC One later this month.
The pair are tasked with transforming a house in Tuscany, but Amanda has admitted filming was plagued by a ghostly 'presence' in the property.
Speaking to The Sun's TV Mag, she said: 'We felt a presence but it wasn't ominous, it felt like a friendly energy.
“Things started happening, the lights went on and off a lot!”
Although there was speculation that Amanda and her family were about to cross the pond, the star has now reportedly bought a new mansion in Surrey and gave fans a glimpse of her stylish dining room on her Instagram.
Last year Amanda put her five-bedroom 'dream home' in Surrey on the market for £5 million amid reports she had her eyes on the United States after visiting the set of America's Got Talent.
The sun previously claimed Amanda met with producers in Los Angeles for two weeks and got along well with AGT judge Heidi Klum And Sofia Vergara.
Her daughter Lexi, 17, would also consider going to university in the US and is considering studying in LA, Boston or New York.
She also shared a fun video on Instagram Stories of herself dancing with her boyfriend Alan

However, it appears that Amanda has chosen to stay home and settle into her new home in Surrey.
According to The sunAn insider said: 'She has worked her way up to become one of the most successful TV stars and now she is reaping the rewards.
'Only the most wealthy and ambitious people can live there and she will certainly be in good company with bankers, footballers and rock stars.
'Amanda is used to a city life, and moving to Surrey will allow her to live a more semi-rural existence without the easy commute to the capital, where she takes most of her work , to give up.'
