Mama June DENIES falling off the wagon as she insists she has been sober for three years’ after sparking concern during erratic live stream

June Shannon refuted claims she relapsed after raising concerns during a erratic livestream shared to her TikTok account earlier this week.

According to TMZthe 44-year-old reality TV personality, who is also known as “Mama June,” began acting erratically while criticizing her fans for “speaking on my behalf” during her stream.

However, the media figure – whose daughter Anna recently passed away – denied claims she was using drugs again, stating she had been 'straight up sober since January 27, 2020'.

Shannon went on to say that she had taken a hard approach to sobriety in recent years and that she did not use intoxicants at all.

The reality TV personality stated, “I don't do drugs, I don't smoke cigarettes and I don't even drink.”

The social media figure explained that she was cooking while on the livestream and had to partially slip out of view to read her fan's comments.

She added that she was blind in her right eye, which made reading the constant stream of text particularly difficult.

Shannon further stated that she undergoes weekly drug tests, which is necessary for the production of her show Mama June: From Not To Hot.

The reality TV character said her constant drug testing wasn't “keeping me clean, I'm keeping me clean.”

Over the years, the star has struggled with substance abuse and was arrested in Alabama in 2019 for drug possession.

Shannon and her then-boyfriend, Geno Doak, subsequently missed a scheduled hearing in September 2020, which took place after their arraignment.

The couple spent time in a rehabilitation center in January 2020 and split from her former partner the following year.

Shannon recently opened up about her addiction issues during an interview with We weeklyin which she was remarkably honest about her past problems.

“The only difference between me using and someone who doesn't have the money that would be homeless or something like that is that I just had an abundance of money to use more of the drug,” she said.

The reality TV personality then said her new priorities were “my sobriety and repairing my relationship with the kids.”

The mother of four added that while she didn't “have much,” her goal was to “live day to day.”
