Rachel Leviss vowed to be a “better friend” in a New Year's Eve post on Instagram after her involvement in the so-called “Scandoval affair” that rocked Vanderpump Rules.

The Scandoval affair broke out in March when Ariana Madix, 38, learned that her longtime boyfriend Tom Sandoval, 40, was having a months-long affair with her good friend Rachel, who previously went by the first name Raquel on the Bravo reality show.

Ariana and Tom immediately broke up and viewers looked for signs of the affair during season 10 of Vanderpump Rules, which concluded in May with a season finale titled “#Scandoval.”

Tom and Raquel later appeared in the reunion episodes and were eviscerated by Ariana for their shared betrayal.
