Perrie Edwards admits she struggles with ‘feeling self doubt’ and ‘like she hasn’t achieved enough’ as she wraps up the year with a reflective post

Perrie Edwards opened up on Instagram on Sunday about “feeling self-doubt” as she thinks about 2023 before ringing in the new year.

The Little Mix singer, 30, said she felt 'worried' that she had 'not achieved enough this year' as she shared a lengthy post.

The mum-of-one, who is engaged to footballer Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and shares son Axel, said she is 'so grateful' for her family.

She wrote: 'Does anyone else have this weird feeling when New Year comes over them? Like the feeling of self-doubt starts to creep in, or sudden thoughts of worrying that you haven't accomplished enough this year float around in your head.

'I always feel it. It's weird. Remember that you are enough. Just getting through the year is difficult enough in itself.

“So give yourself credit. I am so grateful to have my family and my loved ones around me. We are so blessed and it can never be taken for granted.

'A huge cloud hanging over us now is the conflict that is happening in the world and it is heartbreaking to see. I really hope for more peace in 2024.”

It comes after Perrie revealed she took her son Axel, two, to see her waxwork at Madame Tussauds for the very first time.

During the day out they visited Madame Tussauds, where Axel – who shares Perrie with her fiancé Alex – came face to face with her wax figures.

In the sweet video, Perrie was seen cuddling Axel as she took him to the wax museum, where she showed him a Little Mix poster.

She then filmed Axel walking towards a wax figure of her sitting on a chair next to her former Little Mix bandmates.

But the toddler looked less than convinced as he approached the wax figure uncertainly, before hugging Perrie tightly and looking away from the figure.

It comes after Perrie recently followed in her girlfriend Leigh-Anne's footsteps by moving abroad with her footballer fiance Alex.

She plans to split her time between England and Turkey following Alex's move to Besiktas on a three-year deal after he left Liverpool this summer.

She previously packed up to live in Cheshire after Alex signed for Liverpool and is now planning to move even further.

Perrie will reportedly fly as much as possible so they can be together as a family.

A source told The Sun: 'It hasn't been an easy decision as Perrie and Alex have their young son Axel to think about and they don't want to live their lives apart.

'However, the deal was too good to turn down, so they are giving it a try and are determined to make it work.

“They know it won't be easy, but they love each other and want to support each other's dreams. That means we have to make sacrifices.'

Perrie's bandmate Leigh-Anne, 31, is currently splitting her time between Britain and Greece since her husband Andre Gray, 32, signed up for Aris FC in Thessaloniki.
