Blake Shelton plans to quit drinking for good as a New Year's resolution.
The singer, 47, will spend New Year's Eve alongside his wife Gwen Stefani, 54, as he is part of the lineup for CBS' Nashville Big Bash in 2024.
Blake said that although he has tried to reduce his alcohol intake lately, he can't quit it completely.
'I haven't managed to stop drinking yet. That's, you know, even cutting back has been difficult,” he shared Entertainment tonight.
'I mean, it's a decision. And I'll say it again now: that's my New Year's resolution: cut back or stop drinking altogether. Let's just say I said it.'
It comes as Gwen revealed last week that she will be celebrating New Year's Eve on her own.

The singer said she originally planned to spend New Year's Eve with Blake, but an offer she couldn't refuse ultimately led to their plans for the evening being rearranged.
“Well, it's funny because I was supposed to be at his show, and then Vegas called and wanted me to be in Vegas,” she explained.
While she will now surprise her fans in Las Vegas, Blake will be performing across the country at New Year's Eve Live: Nashville's Big Bash in Tennessee.
Gwen also wanted to focus on her health and become more “consistent” in taking care of herself.
The singer also had Blake in mind with another resolution to continue to love him more than ever.
The couple has been married since 2021, but their relationship started in 2015.
They met when Gwen was a judge on the reality competition series The Voice, after Blake had been on the series since its premiere.
The two quickly hit it off, both having recently separated from their spouses that year.
Blake announced a divorce from his wife Miranda Lambert, whom he married in 2011, and it was later finalized in 2015.
