Thousands of private texts and emails from Shane Warne, Lisa Wilkinson and more may leak online following shock hacking scandal: ‘Worst nightmare’

A number of prominent Australian celebrities are at risk of having their dirty laundry aired in public.

Channel Seven reporter Peter Ford, one of the country's most highly regarded showbiz journalists, recently had his email and social media accounts hacked.

The Morning Show regularly described the situation as his 'worst nightmare' Daily telegram that he no longer has access to his accounts.

There are now fears his private correspondence with the biggest names in Australian media could be in jeopardy.

“Over the years I've collected some great correspondence from angry celebrities telling me, from Daryl Somers, Lisa Wilkinson to Derryn Hinch,” he told the publication.

“I had hundreds, maybe thousands of private messages, mostly Twitter DMs, from Shane Warne,” he added.

Ford also said he had messages from the late Joan Rivers that will be lost forever if he cannot restore access to his accounts.

Before his death in March last year, cricket legend Warnie had built quite a reputation for getting into the DMs of beautiful women.

Some of the ladies on the receiving end of Warnie's DMs included reality star Jessika Power, Imogen Anthony, glamor model Zilda Williams and OnlyFans sensation Gina Stewart.

While Ford had a friendly relationship with Shane, the showbiz veteran has no shortage of enemies in the entertainment industry.

Among them is the controversial Lisa Wilkinson, who has criticized Ford several times on social media over the years.

After quitting The Project in 2022, Ford tweeted: “Only Lisa could manage to make 'her decision' known and victimize herself at the same time. All the hard work she put in etc. etc. for 4 evenings a week and 20,000 a week. That poor lady!'

Then in November he posted: 'Lisa Wilkinson hates my guts. So it's kind of ironic that I'm literally the only person in the media offering her any public support. The silence of her friends and colleagues is deafening!'

Ford's other elite friends include Priscilla Presley and Lady Colin Campbell, while enemies include Chrissie Swan and Meshel Laurie.
