Ryan Fitzpatrick mocked Aaron Rodgers for his bizarre anti-vax rant during his weekly Pat McAfee appearance on Tuesday, where the Jets quarterback said people should reveal their vaccination status before voicing their opinions.
The Jets play the Cleveland Browns in the NFL on Thursday night and Rodgers spoke with Amazon Prime and Fitzpatrick as part of the pre-game buildup coverage.
“Hey Aaron, Ryan Fitzpatrick here, how are you doing?” the analyst said. “Class of 2005, vaccinated twice.”
Rodgers seemed to take the joke well, greeting Fitzpatrick with a “hey buddy” before laughing at his vaccination joke.
Injured Jets quarterback Rodgers, who is openly anti-vax, made his latest vaccination claims during his Tuesday appearance on the McAfee show.

Rodgers addressed claims that some NFL fans weren't convinced how badly injured he was when he tore his Achilles tendon on the first day of the season against the Bills; “I think what we need to do, Pat, is the same people who are criticizing me or making up conspiracies about my injury or whatever – before they talk, let's go back to 2021 and let's make people say their vax status for starters .
'Then all these comments will be shown in the right window.
“Everyone could know at that moment that they have their puppeteers making them puppeteers to say this certain thing about this man and they're still upset about the fact that I believe in medical freedom.
“So let's make sure we ask these people the right questions before they start spouting so that we can actually put each of these specific comments into perspective.”
McAfee himself watched and shared the clip with four laughing emojis.
Rodgers has been open about his disdain for the coronavirus vaccine since it became available to NFL players in 2021. To this day, Rodgers claims he has not been vaccinated against COVID-19.
In October, Rodgers called Travis Kelce “Mr. Pfizer' after Taylor Swift's boyfriend appeared in ads for the pharmaceutical company.
