Fans have taken to social media to condemn ESPN's broadcast of the Quick Lane Bowl after it focused more on the star quarterback's fiancée than some players.

Minnesota football finished the season on a high note, beating Bowling Green 30-24 on Tuesday night, but much of the screen time came off the field of play.

Golden Gophers QB Cole Kramer made his first career start with the win and the TV cameras seemingly wanted to document the occasion by featuring his fiancée Katie Miller on their broadcast.

Incredibly, Miller was given more screen time than most football players, similar to how Taylor Swift is treated when she attends one of her boyfriend Travis Kelce's NFL games with the Kansas City Chiefs.

Fans hoping to tune in for just gridiron action weren't too happy with the constant references to Miller and her relationship with Kramer.

Because of the volume Miller was exposed to, she became a viral sensation overnight.

Another social media user posted a GIF from the movie “Dumb & Dumber” of Jim Carrey's character Lloyd Christmas and said, “I don't care!” regarding the reporting on Miller.

“We need to start buying Katie Miller gifts from her registry,” said another fan on X.

'[Over/Under] how many times will katie miller be mentioned in the 4th quarter? I'll set the limit at 9.5 and take the upper hand,” another fan predicted.

Kramer finished the game with just 26 passing yards, quite low for a starting quarterback despite the Golden Gophers' win.

Miller and Kramer have been engaged since May 2022 and will get married in February.

Miller is a nurse and has been in a public relationship with Kramer since April 2021, when she posted the first photo of them together as a couple on Instagram.

Kramer attempted just 30 passes during his college career, which started at Minnesota in 2019.
