The 37-year-old artist was first spotted entering a beauty salon before taking a puff as she strolled the city streets.
The actress, who recently went back and forth with the color of her hair, opted for a black T-shirt worn over a matching skirt as she stepped out.
Bynes also wore a pair of tall leather boots and slung a matching bag over her right shoulder.
The star of The Amanda Show wore chic sunglasses, and her blonde-to-red hair stood out against the dark tones of her outfit.

The actress' outing came just a week after she ended her podcast series, titled Amanda Bynes & Paul Sieminski: The Podcast.
The performer's project, which she presented together with the biochemist, debuted on Spotify on December 8.
Bynes and her co-host were joined by Los Angeles-based tattoo artist Dahlia Moth on the first and only episode of her show.
The podcast also marked the first time the actress has been involved in a filmed project since 2010, when she appeared in the Emma Stone film Easy A.
The All That actress first revealed that there were behind-the-scenes issues with her podcast in a video shared to her TikTok account earlier this month, in which she stated that she was having trouble booking guests.
She stated via Entertainment tonight: 'I felt really sad and in a really bad mood because the podcast was actually something I was really looking forward to filming next week and it was something I was really happy and excited about.'
Bynes also spoke about her desire to have artists like Drake and Post Malone appear on her project.
The performer further revealed that she had chosen to pull the plug on her podcast in a post shared to her Instagram Story last Thursday.

The performer further revealed that she had chosen to pull the plug on her podcast in a post shared to her Instagram Story last Thursday.
She started her message by saying that the first “episode of my podcast did really well” and that she was “surprised at its success.”
However, Bynes subsequently cited her desire to continue on a different career path as the reason for the project's cancellation.
“But after thinking about it, I'd rather get my manicure license and have a steady job. Instead, I'm going to follow that path,” she said.
The actress concluded her message by thanking all her fans for “following my journey.”
