Son gives his parents the ultimate Christmas gift – as his dad chokes up before delivering the most Aussie response ever
A loving son has given his parents the ultimate Christmas gift by paying off their mortgage.
Touching video shows father Wayne Benn unwrapping a shoebox-sized gift from his son Oscar Benn, expecting to see a box of chocolates.
Instead, the box contained a check for $130,000, enough to pay off his Gold Coast home.
'That's nonsense! That can not be true. Is that serious?' Wayne asked incredulously.
“It's real,” Oscar said.
The stunned father begins to burst into tears.
'Are you crying? Don't cry,” said one of the gathered family members.

Wayne throws the check to his wife and Oscar's mother Kari Benn, who silently read the number before bursting into tears.
“I'm not doing two days a week, I'm quitting,” Wayne laughed.
Oscar then gave both his parents an emotional hug.
The family was in awe of the moment before Wayne decided to change the mood in typical Australian fashion.
“Okay, let's go to the beach,” he said.
Oscar's brother Hudson Benn posted the video on his Facebook page.
“Oscar has always had an entrepreneurial streak and today he received the remainder of his mother and father's mortgage payment,” Hudson wrote.
“It's a real honor for how beautiful and generous his heart is and how wonderful Mom and Dad have been to us as parents. A beautiful Christmas morning.'
Before Wayne opened the gift, Oscar read an emotional message to his parents from a Christmas card.
“The older I get, the more I appreciate you being my parents,” he read.

'Thank you for coming to my cricket and football matches week after week. That meant a lot to me, even when I got 11-ball ducks.”
“I'm so proud that you are my parents.”
Oscar said he wants to show the same love his parents have for each other.
“Thank you for showing me what it looks like to love Jesus, and Dad, thank you for showing us what it looks like to love Mom and what it is to be a great dad.” , he reads.
'Thank you for always supporting me, encouraging me and praying for me.
“You will never understand the impact you have had on my life. We boys are so grateful to you.'
