Chris Pine makes a solo Christmas Eve grocery run to stock up before the holidays at Gelson’s in Los Angeles
Chris Pine spent his Christmas Eve on a solo grocery run to stock up for the holidays.
The 43-year-old actor was spotted stopping at a Gelson's in Los Angeles for some last-minute shopping.
The outing comes a month after the Star Trek star defended his tiny shorts as a “vibe.”
Pine stepped out wearing a white T-shirt under a blue denim jacket with a silver chain dangling from his neck.
He was seen carrying a brown shopping bag from the supermarket as he returned to his car.

The actor completed his look with matching dark blue jeans with rolled up cuffs and brown shoes for the outing.
Pine made headlines in October when he was spotted wearing tiny shorts paired with a mustard yellow hoodie and brown loafers.
He defended the look in an interview in November, saying: 'It's called short shorts, right? It has to be short.'
“Corduroy shorts. I mean, it's a vibe. It's the best atmosphere. It's like a Tom Selleck vibe. It feels like a 70s surfer vibe. I prefer that,” he added.
The Wish star was referring to actor Selleck who famously played Richard in Friends, before making his name as the shorts-wearing TV detective Magnum PI.
“It's like showtime. Lakers – would you rather see them with the shorts and Magic Johnson looking like a basketball player and athlete, instead of wearing some kind of capris on the floor?” Chris hilariously continued. 'No. So I wear the shorts.”
How much longer is he going to show off his gams? “Until the legs give out,” he admitted.
Chris' defense of his sartorial choices comes after he recently took stock of his meme-worthy personal style, describing it as “jiggy,” per People.

His 'jiggy' style was on full display during his most recent gym visit, where he took Twitter by storm after serving up a PBS crew-neck tank top, skin-tight leggings (again) and slip-on huarache sandals.
The kicker was Chris' cashmere jacket with rainbow sherbet stripes, which really set off the firestorm on social media, as one follower exclaimed the hunk as a “Los Feliz mom who drives in her Prius to drop off her kids at a not -denominational Quaker High School'.
Another user tagged the look as “Lisa Rinna got bitten by a werewolf,” while Chris rocked a shaggy head of hair and beard.
Despite the last-minute aesthetic, Chris doesn't settle for thrift store finds: the colorful sweater is from celebrity favorite brand The Elder Statesman and sells for just $2,395.
Chris is no stranger to good ribbing online, as he was the talk of Twitter during most of the promotional tour for Don't Worry Darling, including the famous 'Spitgate' with Harry Styles.
