Ashley Cain’s ex Safiyya Vorajee has been ‘having a hard time’ after learning he’s set to become a father again – as she sparks rumours she’s joining popular reality show

Ashley Cain's ex Safiyya Vorajee revealed she's been having a 'rough time' lately as she sparked rumors she's joining a hit reality TV show.

The aesthetic practitioner, 35, joined Love Islander Elma Pazar, Harry Derbidge and Courtney Green in Winter Wonderland on Saturday.

Safiyya put on a brave face after her ex Ashley Cain announced he was becoming a father again, just two years after their daughter Azaylia Diamond Cain passed away.

She donned a Santa Baby jumper and sipped cocktails as she posed for photos with the cast of The Only Way Is Essex, sparking speculation that she could be joining the show.

Alongside the Instagram post, Safiyya wrote: 'It's been hard lately but it's something I'm so grateful for having good people around me, a few hours of dancing, singing and eating yummy snacks was exactly what I needed.'

In one clip she climbed onto the shoulders of TOWIE star Saffron Lempriere as the pair danced.

In another video taken by Harry, she smiled and danced for the camera alongside Courtney and Chloe Meadows.

Safiyya and Celebrity Ex On The Beach star Ashley, 33, split in April last year and claim he broke up with him after having a drink and saying he couldn't do it anymore.

Baby Azaylia died just eight months after being diagnosed with a rare form of leukemia at eight weeks.

Her loving parents founded the Azaylia Foundation in memory of their daughter, which aims to combat the shortage of doctors and treatments for childhood cancer.

Prior to her death, they had raised more than £1.5 million to fund her specialist treatment in Singapore.

Azaylia was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia and had tumors on her lungs, stomach and kidneys.

She received several rounds of chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant at Birmingham Children's Hospital, but sadly died on April 24, 2021, when she was just eight months old, after a courageous battle.

It comes after Ashley responded to trolls in an angry post following criticism of the way he allegedly treated his ex.

Safiyya claimed he dumped her in a “quick and brutal” manner after the death of their daughter Azaylia, before asking her for another child. After the breakup, she found out that he was expecting a child with another woman.

Hitting back at trolls, Ashley wrote on his Story on Wednesday night: 'Just because I don't talk doesn't mean I can't talk, it just means I choose not to.

“Protecting the things and people I love that are, have been, or will be in my life will always trump everything else.

'No matter how many stones are thrown, or how much they hurt, I will always insist on that.'

Safiyya said both she and former Ex On The Beach star Ashley struggled with their grief and he later moved out of their home in Nuneaton, Warwickshire, while Safiyya told The Sun on Sunday: 'He had a few drinks, it was quick and brutal ' . He said he couldn't do it anymore.'

Ashley claims Safiyya has now congratulated him on the news of becoming a father again.

The former sportsman, who appeared on ITV's The Real Full Monty: Jingle Balls this week, has said he is having a baby boy with someone he has known since he was 18.

He told The Sun on Sunday: 'Safiyya and I have shared an intense emotional journey together since the loss of Azaylia.

'When intense emotions are involved, whether loss, breakups or the announcement of my recent baby, memory of the events can vary.

“What has never changed is our mutual commitment to our daughter's foundation, which has never been stronger.”

However, Safiyya said, “How can I congratulate him when I am in so much pain?

“Knowing that my child has a brother or sister who is not related to me has shattered my dreams of a future with a full brother or sister from that family.

'I am ashamed. I'm speaking out because I need to stop covering up things that are painful for me. I'm devastated.

“Because he didn't mention this woman, I've had thousands and thousands of messages where people thought it was me, congratulating me.”

In an interview with The Sun, Ashley revealed that his daughter was the first person he told about the pregnancy when he visited his daughter's grave.

He candidly revealed, “After I went to her resting place and talked to her about it, I just had this feeling in my heart and soul that she was happy for me.

“She was happy to have a little brother and now it's just someone else to watch over and protect in this world.”

Ashley was preparing for the Yukon 1000, the world's toughest survival race from Canada, via the Arctic Circle to Alaska, when he received a call in July from a friend he was dating at the time, revealing that she was pregnant.

Although Ashley did not reveal the identity of the baby's mother, he said they have been friends since they were 18 and have met on and off over the years.
