Jordan took to Instagram shortly after the announcement to share a statement of his own
Shortly afterwards, Jordan started working on his story and wrote his own statement.
He wrote: 'I am very grateful for my eleven years with the band and extremely proud of everything we have achieved together.'
“I look forward to hearing what they do next and wish them the best of luck in the future.
“I'm excited to embark on this next period of my career, focusing on songwriting and production in the meantime.”
Jordan, 37, joined the band in 2012 and made a huge impact playing keyboard and providing background vocals.
The band's story comes after weeks of speculation, with fans believing Jordan was ill or having family issues.
Jordan joined in 2012 and made his first appearance in 2013 on the album Sempiternal, which he co-wrote.
