Kyle Walker and Felipe Melo have to be separated following heated exchange after Manchester City win Club World Cup final against Fluminense
Kyle Walker had to be moved away from Felipe Melo on a full-time basis after Manchester City won the Club World Cup.
The full-back clashed with the Brazilian after the match, which saw the new world champion dominate form, ending in a 4-0 win.
City took the lead just seconds into the match, with Julian Alvarez scoring a 'Messi-like' goal with his chest after Nathan Ake had hit the post.
Nino then scored an own goal to make it 2–0, before Phil Foden and Alvarez again added to the tally as City were crowned world champions.
But there was little time for celebration in Jeddah initially, with Walker and Melo falling out and having to be dragged apart by a number of other players.

Footage from the match appeared to show the 40-year-old Melo running towards Walker, who moved ahead of a number of his City teammates after the full-time whistle.
The reason for the confrontation remains unclear, but a number of players quickly joined forces in the confrontation to tear the pair apart.
Tensions eventually cooled, with Jack Grealish being the man tasked with pulling Walker out of the situation.
Walker lifted the trophy as Manchester City's deputy captain while Kevin de Bruyne was still injured.

Although emotions appear to be the fuel for Fluminense, it is clear that Melo crossed a line at full-time after his side's heavy defeat and hopes of disappointment in the final.
While previous Club World Cup finals have sometimes been tense and not an easy task for the European side, City made easy work of their opponents to become the last English side to lift the trophy, after Liverpool and Chelsea.
