Taylor Swift responds to tearful single mom’s touching story about how singer impacted her relationship with daughter: ‘I am so moved’

Taylor Swift was “so touched” after hearing how she made 2023 a year to remember for a single mother and her nine-year-old daughter.

In a TikTok video uploaded on Tuesday, a fan named Giny spoke directly to Swift about how she and her child bonded over their mutual admiration for the singer, 34.

'Earlier today [my daughter and I] We were talking about how good this year was,” Giny began.

“And she said, 'Mom, I had more fun with you this year than ever before.' And I know why. That's because we had so much fun with you.'

Although they couldn't see Swift on tour, the mother-daughter duo enjoyed watching her Eras Tour concert film in theaters and at home.

The film grossed over $100 million at the worldwide box office and recently became available to rent on Amazon Prime Video, giving fans who couldn't get tickets the chance to experience the show.

“For my daughter to sit there and say, 'I had the best year with you.' I am a single mother. I work every day,” she said.

Swift's impact on Giny's relationship with her daughter has only made her a bigger fan – she even goes so far as to say she would 'take a bullet' for the hitmaker.

Giny became emotional and continued: 'That means so much to me. Even more than my love for you… I didn't think it could become more, but when I heard that come out of my daughter's mouth. Girl, I'll take a bullet for you.”

She made the TikTok in hopes that Swift would come across it and see the positive impact she has on her fans' lives.

“I just wanted to let you know that you changed my mother's heart and brought my daughter and me closer together.”

In what must be another moment of clarity for Giny, Swift saw her video on Thursday left a heartfelt comment in the comment section.

“You just reminded me why this year was so special. I am so moved by what you said. It reminds me of me and my mom and the memories we made.

“Thank you very much for sharing this.”

The Grammy Award winner then praised Giny for her vulnerability in a follow-up comment.

'Being vulnerable enough to share your true emotions is a beautiful thing. Happy Holidays.'

Swift added a series of red heart emojis.

Giny was completely shocked as she replied: 'This isn't real… OMG!!!! Thank you for being unapologetically yourself!!”

She stated that Swift's mother Andrea, a two-time breast cancer survivor, is also her “idol.”

'She is a warrior and so are you!! You made my life so much better and when I had a daughter you made our relationship so strong!!

'We [love] You!! & I hope you know how amazing you are!!” Giny concluded.

Swift's response has racked up nearly 25,000 likes and more than 300 comments from fans expressing their love for her.

While Swift fans rejoiced on TikTok, the global superstar was spotted dining out in New York City.

She put on a leggy show in heels and a miniskirt as she strolled down the sidewalk in trendy Greenwich Village.

The Pennsylvania native was flanked by security.

It is unclear who Swift met with or where she dined.

The Bejeweled hitmaker is currently in the middle of a whirlwind romance with NFL star Travis Kelce, 34.

The couple made their relationship public in September and Swift spoke about Kelce in her for the first time TIME cover story – in which she was named Person of the Year 2023.

She said the romance started with a comment on the podcast the football star shares with his brother.

“This all started when Travis adorably confused me on his podcast, which I thought was metal as hell. We started hanging out right after that,” the singer said, adding that their infamous first public appearance at a competition was not their first date.

She explained, “I think some people think they saw our first date at that game? We would never be psychotic enough to initiate a first date.'

Swift also acknowledged the attention she received when she attended his games with the Kansas City Chiefs.

“I'm just here to support Travis. “I have no idea if too much is being shown to me and some dads, Brads and Chads are being slaughtered,” she said TIME.

“If you say a relationship is public, that means I'm going to see him doing what he loves, that we're sticking up for each other, that there are other people there and we don't care.”

Swift recently celebrated her 34th birthday and fans noticed in photos from her party in NYC that she was wearing an impressive opal ring.

They began to speculate that it was a gift from Kelce.

But Swift's close friend Keleigh Sperry – who attended her party with her husband Miles Teller and actress Blake Lively – said she was the one who bought the beautiful ring.

On Thursday, the 31-year-old made the revelation on her Instagram, sharing a photo of the ring with her followers.

“I love this ring I made for my girlfriend, it is jeweled,” Keleigh wrote. “I love you, T!”

Sperry also shared a video of Swift marveling at the gems as the singer raved, “This is unreal, Keleigh! Opal and blue topaz, wow!'

“As a gift for Elizabeth Taylor, this is not for me,” Swift said, clearly surprised by Sperry's thoughtfulness.

“You're my Elizabeth Taylor!” Sperry replied sweetly, without missing a beat.
