SONIA'S MORNING AND EVENING BEAUTY ROUTINE
Morning
Sonia keeps her regimen simple. She washes her face with warm water before applying a moisturizer with an SPF in it and a touch of Revitaleyes, which she says “removes all the puffiness after you sleep.”
She then uses one BB Fade skin tone with probiotics and applies Three warriors turn brown aquamist ($32.95) for a little extra sunless glow up.
“I don't wear a lot of makeup when I'm not working so the BB Blur is a beautiful skin tint with probiotics which gives me a pop of color and for hydration I always use a lip balm or tinted lipstick from Mecca,” she told FEMAIL.
'For television, we tend to use a lot of priming products, such as MAC Studio Fix ($64) or Prep and prime ($50) to control shine, followed by a full-coverage foundation. Cream blush is nice because it adds a dewy quality and is one of my favorites Please blush ($55).
'It is important that make-up lasts so that products look nice Stila Stay all day waterproof eyeliner ($24) and pencils are a must.”

Evening
In the evening – especially after a long day on set – she thoroughly cleanses her face with an oil-based pre-cleansing, followed by Bioderma Micellar Water ($29.99), a final gentle cleansing with warm water, solutions for night vision and a touch of lip balm.
Sonia says hair masks are as important as skin masks, so she tries to use the masks Aveda Intensive strengthening mask ($91) at least once a week to give her hair some love.
'A kind of leave-in conditioner Unite 75 Seconds detangler ($34) is also great for hair damaged by summer swimming and sun,” said Sonia.
Gadgets and treatments
'As far as gadgets go, I really like the Apple Watch because it tracks your activity, heart rate and sleep. It's also a reality check for those days when you've spent a little too much time on the couch watching TV,” Sonia said.
When it comes to professional treatments, there is one that immediately came to mind.
“I tried Laser Genesis because it is good for skin conditions like rosacea and has little to no recovery time,” she said. To preserve it and stay budget-friendly, she turns to the Wrinkle Freeze as an at-home alternative.
Performed by a professional, Laser Genesis takes between 15 and 60 minutes and targets a range of skin concerns including uneven skin texture, large pores, acne and scars. It typically costs between $250 and $450.
'My day on a plate actually starts with a double flat white coffee. “I'm not a big breakfast person and my first meal of the day is usually lunch,” she said
SONIA'S DIET AND EXERCISE ROUTINE
Eating pattern
Sonia drinks as much water as she can every day, skips breakfast and is not afraid of an indulgent meal, especially during the holidays.
'My day on a plate actually starts with a double flat white coffee. “I'm not a big breakfast person and my first meal of the day is usually lunch,” she said.
'I usually aim for a healthy salad and then I eat lean proteins such as chicken, turkey or fish and vegetables. I admit that dinner is occasionally a slam dunk for a burger or pizza, and on Christmas Day all bets are off!'
Sonia has tried to cut out sugar as much as possible and limit her alcohol consumption because 'it's better for our skin and overall health'.

“As a rule, I try to avoid sugar, but every now and then I accidentally take a pack of chocolate balls to bed,” she admitted.
'I do find that the less sugar and alcohol you consume, the better your skin will look and feel.'

“I'm going on a road trip to nature and looking for the perfect spot on the beach,” she said. I love a traditional Australian Christmas with prawns and pavlova, but my favorite thing is seeing my daughter Maggie wake up in the morning, excited to see what's under the tree.”
Exercise routine
“I do something active every day, whether it's a walk with my dog Teddy or playing a game of tennis,” Sonia said.
'I also do my Strictly You online dance workout… it's great for busy mums as you can do it anytime in the privacy of your own home.'
