Several members of the Baltimore Ravens spoke about being labeled as the underdogs during their game against the San Francisco 49ers on Monday night.

The Ravens and 49ers are tied for the best record in the NFL at 11-3. However, according to ESPN BET, the Ravens are listed as 5.5-point underdogs.

These odds not only put the Ravens as underdogs for the second time this season, but are also the second-longest odds Baltimore has seen during Lamar Jackson's six seasons at quarterback.

The only other game this season where the Ravens were considered underdogs was in Week 2, when they defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 27-24.

“I don't want them to pick us,” Jackson said. 'I like being the underdog. I believe we play better when we are doubted and (if) people don't pick us to win the game.

β€œI feel like we're playing better and better, so just do it through February. That's all I ask.'

Jackson has been favored in 62 of his 75 career starts in the regular season and is 9-4 in his career when listed as an underdog.

Several members of the Ravens defense expressed a much more disgruntled view when discussing their underdog status ahead of Monday's game.

β€œIt makes us feel a little disrespected,” Ravens safety Kyle Hamilton said.

β€œI feel like we are the best team in the league, and we have an opportunity for the country to show that.”

Teams listed as underdogs have won the last seven games on Monday Night Football, which is the longest streak in the history of the primetime slot.

However, those in Baltimore are confident this streak will continue for at least another week.

β€œI bet on us 10 times out of 10,” Ravens linebacker Roquan Smith said. “I don't really care about other people's opinions.”

The Ravens currently hold a one-game lead over the Miami Dolphins (10-4) for the No. 1 seed in the AFC.

Baltimore can reach the AFC North for the first time in four years this week if they beat San Francisco and the Cleveland Browns lose to the Texans.
