Six people were injured after a massive fire broke out on the top floor of a Queens apartment building Wednesday afternoon, officials said.

Firefighters are on scene in Sunnyside trying to get the blaze under control as a heavy plume of black smoke billows from the windows and roof.

The fire started just after noon on Wednesday in the 43-09 block of 47th Avenue, bringing more than 130 firefighters to the scene.

According to the FDNY, no fatalities were reported and those injured suffered minor injuries.

The origin of the fire has yet to be determined by authorities.
