Taylor Swift 'wasted $1,200 on five vintage Chiefs sweatshirts from a Kansas City store' as owner reveals pop star's appearance at Travis Kelce's games has led to unprecedented sales
Taylor Swift recently spent $1,200 at a local Kansas City boutique on five vintage Chiefs sweatshirts.
Chris Harrington, owner of Westside Storey, told Forbes that Swift placed an online order for the Chiefs gear in mid-October.
Harrington added that since Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce have been publicly an item, dating back to a Sept. 24 performance at Arrowhead Stadium, the store has had unprecedented sales.
Swift attended the Chiefs game against the Bears that day and was at seven of Kansas City's games in total.
Harrington told Forbes that there was a 12-hour period of 400 to 500 people on the store's website after the Chiefs' most recent game against the New England Patriots on Sunday, which Swift was in attendance.

Swift's appearances in Westside Storey's clothing led to the store's “best week ever” after it had been open for around a decade.
'She is conscious of what she wears and does not wear commercial fast fashion; she's wearing someone's brand that is very small and has a limited number of items,” Harrington told Forbes.
“To do that for someone's small business, we're grateful.”
Harrington also wants to contact Swift about a personal visit to his store.
Kelce, 34, has been a Chiefs for his entire NFL career, with his celebrity status skyrocketing since dating Swift.
