Holly Marie Combs reveals Alyssa Milano’s ex Brian Krause APOLOGIZED to her 24 years after feud on Charmed set – after confirming rumor that actress got Shannen Doherty fired

Holly Marie Combs has revealed that Alyssa Milano's ex Brian Krause has apologized – 24 years after the feud between the actresses broke out on the set of Charmed.

Combs, 50, who recently confirmed a long-standing rumor that Milano, 51, fired Shannen Doherty, 52, from Charmed by issuing a “her or me” ultimatum – told iHeartRadio's Let's Be Clear with Shannen Doherty podcast that Krause , 54 — who played Leo Wyatt on the show — recently felt compelled to say sorry to her.

Combs said, “The other day – it was about a year ago – we were on stage in France in front of a panel that was filled with a lot of people, and he paused for a moment.

“He looked at me like he forgot something, and I kind of looked at him like, 'What? What's the problem? Why are you looking at me like that?' And he just looked at me while someone was asking a question and said, “I'm so sorry.”

'And I was like, “Sorry for what?” I was like, “Are you going somewhere? What's happening?” He just shook his head and said, “I'm so sorry.” Because we had talked about it a little bit on stage without talking about it. Because still no one was allowed to talk about it.

“And we got off stage and he just looked at me and said, 'I'm so sorry. That must have been a terrible time for you.'

Doherty replied: 'I mean, it took him 24 years, but better late than never.'

This comes after Combs addressed the issue Beverly Hills, the 90210 star's abrupt departure from the series in 2001 after the third season. Combs revealed that she met with show producer Jonathan Levin about her co-star's firing.

Combs alleged that Levin told her, “It wasn't our intention – but we've been backed into this corner – we're actually in this position where it's one or the other.”

“We were told (by Alyssa) that it's her or (Shannen) and Alyssa has threatened to sue us for a hostile work environment,” she recalled Levin telling her.

The Pretty Little Liars stated that 51-year-old Milano had documented “every time she felt uncomfortable on set” and seemingly built a case against her and Doherty.

Meanwhile, Combs, who played Piper Halliwell in all 179 episodes of the series from 1998-2006, insisted she didn't remember any “harsh words” or “fights on set.”

“There are actually people who behave badly and get away with it,” Combs said with frustration in her voice. “I don't think people understand that this never happened here.”

Combs stated that she was so angry about Doherty's firing that she did not want to do the show “without Shannen.”

After saying she no longer wanted to do the show, Combs claimed Levin threatened to sue her if she quit.

After her dismissal, Doherty said she had replayed “everything” in her “brain” for a year, but could “remember once being mean to Milano.”

On an episode titled, Let's Be Charmed…with Holly Marie Combs (Part 1)which aired on Doherty's podcast last week, Doherty accused Milano and her mother, Lin, of turning Combs against her during production of the show's second season.

Doherty also told Combs that she thought it was “very interesting of (Milano)” to try to “pull them away” from each other, despite their close friendship, which started before they started working together.

“I also felt my anger about the situation where I wasn't allowed to come see you and how some kind of family had barged in,” she said, adding that she “cried every night” during production of the show's second season.

Combs said growing up under adverse circumstances drew her to Milano's family at the time.

“I think it was pretty clear that I was raised by teenage parents and I didn't have a big family,” Combs said. “So you're right: when a family came in and tried to adopt me, it was very tempting for me.

“I also wanted everyone to get along, I wanted the show to be a success. There were no angels, there were no demons.”

At the time, both were dealing with worsening off-screen issues: Doherty said her late father, John Thomas Doherty (who died in 2010 at age 66), had been “in and out of the hospital non-stop.”

Combs had to undergo surgery on her uterus to remove a tumor due to cancer concerns, which led to production of the series being suspended.

Doherty said Milano and her mother had tried to limit her access to Combs in the aftermath of the medical procedure.

“I waited 24 hours after your surgery to go and then it wasn't even easy for me to get in,” said Doherty, who played Brenda Walsh on Beverly Hills, 90210 from 1990 to 1994. “It was like I was too I was told I wasn't even allowed in.'

“Alyssa and her mom were blocking people from seeing you and at the time you didn't know – I remember you texting me, 'Dude, are you going to come see me?'

Doherty said she was angry about the scenario, adding that it “created a strange rift between the two of us that lasted throughout season two.”

Combs added: We all had bad days, we all had good days. We could all have behaved better in certain areas, but there was a lack of awareness of the bigger, broader picture.”

Rose McGowan appeared on the show in subsequent seasons, saying in her 2018 book Brave, “I wasn't going to play the role of Shannen, but it was still someone new for the fans to bond with… I knew I had a small chance of success here.'

She said the show was “a very stressful environment at times” and that she “started having panic attacks because of everything that was pushing (she) down.”

Doherty and Combs have remained on good terms, as they starred together in the 2015 travel series Off the Map With Shannen & Holly.

“You know, I could take responsibility for a lot of the tension that we had,” she told the outlet. “I think a lot of our struggle came from feeling like I was in a competition, rather than it being about that sisterhood that the show was so much about. And I feel guilty about my part in it.'
