Heart-stopping moment mother and her two-year-old daughter escape injury from car crash

This is the heartbreaking moment a mother and her two-year-old daughter in a pram narrowly escaped serious injury after a car crashed into a lamppost and onto the pavement.
The terrifying crash happened near a zebra crossing on Warwick Road in Solihull, West Midlands, at around 4pm on Saturday.
Video shows the mother pushing her child in a stroller as the car veers off the side of the road. The mother then braces for impact and tries to turn the stroller away before the car crashes into a lamppost and tips over on its side.
As traffic comes to a standstill, others walk on the street and people in their cars try to help the pair.

Out of nowhere, a car starts speeding down the sidewalk towards them before ending up on its side
Seconds later, the mother is seen miraculously walking away from the car, holding her daughter and sitting on a chair outside a restaurant.
A store employee who rushed to help after the crash said the little girl had injured her leg in the accident.
“The mother was in shock and her little girl was only about two years old,” they said. 'We think she has a broken leg. It was a terrible crash.”
West Midlands Ambulance Service sent two ambulances to the scene. The child and the female driver of the car suffered non-life-threatening injuries and both were taken to hospital.
The girl's mother was treated at the scene and taken home with non-life-threatening injuries.
An ambulance service spokeswoman said: 'We were called at 4.11pm on Saturday to a road traffic collision involving a car and two pedestrians on Warwick Road, Solihull. Two ambulances and an ambulance worker arrived on scene.

“Upon arrival we found a woman and child who were pedestrians and a woman who was the driver of the car. The driver of the car and the child were examined and had non-life-threatening injuries.
'The driver was treated by paramedics and both were taken to Heartlands Hospital for further assessment. A woman who was a pedestrian was investigated and suffered minor injuries.
'She was treated by paramedics, required no further treatment and was discharged at the scene.'
A police spokesman added: 'We attended a collision on Warwick Road, Olton, Solihull, where a car struck a lamp post at a zebra crossing. Fortunately, no one was injured and no arrests were made.”
